LOL. This can't be serious. Not only is Lopez better than Gallo, I don't know how you can seriously debate anything to the contrary.

PER
Lopez 20.1
Gallinari 14.8
That doesn't take into account that Lopez plays a more valuable position. Note: Patrick Ewing wasn't this productive in his second year. Is there one single Knicks fan who would take Gallinari over Ewing?

How is this possibly a discussion?

I don't think "pathetic" is an adequate description of this scenario.

*thanks god that Lebron went to Miami*

As I said, it's a wait and see. I'd be happy to revisit this in the middle of the year.

Brook Lopez is almost guaranteed to get 19/9/2/2 or better this upcoming years with a PER of 20+. That is all star level production at the C position.

For Gallo to have a better season, he will have to put up 23/8/5 or something while maintaining a high PER and a high TS%. Not really easy to do.

and for Lopez's team to win as many games as gallo's team, he'd have to put up something like 36/15/4. If he does that, the nets might win 45 games and make the playoffs.

anywho - I said from the getgo that it was a bad comparison. that's my real feeling on this one.

I've found a better comparison for Gallo.

PER 36 minutes:

Player A: 16ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.8apg, 42.3%FG, 38.1%3pt, 57.5 TS%, 14.8 PER

Player B: 15.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 2.1apg, 44.1%FG, 36.9%3pt, 54.5 TS%, 14.1 PER

Player A is Danilo Gallinari. Player B is a rookie from last year. Player A is better but really not by much.

A pathetic Knicks fan went on their board begging them to vote for Gallo. That how.
