This is laughable. Brook Lopez is FAR superior to Gallinari I don't even understand how this is a debate. The ONLY fans in the NBA who could dream of arguing this are Knicks fans. Billy king should call up Walsh and offer Lopez for Gallo, Walsh would cream himself.

Have people not read through the countless Derrick Rose threads where Bulls fans will call him a top5 player? Or their rantings about how special Noah is? How Deng went from a garbage player to amazing when they needed to trade him..
How about topics on Batum/Roy? Do Portland fans want to trade away Batum? Do portland fans constantly rate Roy higher than other fans? Will portland fans give up on Oden? nop.
Not like I'm going to bother to argue with anyone on this topic as very few people seem to even have 3rd grade reading comprehension but I do find it humorous that some how Brook Lopez has already "proven something." I also find it funny that people try to make glamorous arguments all the time when all they've obviously done is looked at a players stats.

Oh, we're going to. And I am most definitely going to give a hardy laugh when the Nets are on pace for another below 20 win season so we can all recognize how hollow Brook's stats really are.

He should of averaged at least 10boards last yr, on that team.
Gallo could be a top of the line scorer/shooter.
He's usually compared with Peja. Peja's best season was when he put up..
24.2ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.3stl, 0.2bpg, 48%fg, 43%3p 92.7ft
I think Gallo could put up that line, while doing better in assists & blocks. I'm not sure if he'll ever shoot 48% tho, specially if he doesn't learn to get to the line more.

There are people who are out in left field in every fanbase. Most Bulls fans don't feel the way you just described, but there are some who do. You know what should happen to those Bulls fans? They should be mocked and shouted down, just like any Knick fan who things that Gallinari is anywhere near Lopez.
And yes, most of us have watched Lopez and Gallinari. Sorry, but Gallinari just isn't that good. He is a shooter who isn't great at creating his own shot and doesn't bring much else. Probably the saddest thing I see is Knicks fans saying that Gallo is a good defender. These are Knicks fans. They should KNOW good defense, yet they don't. With Gallinari, they just give him credit for at least trying (which he does), unlike most of the Knicks. While trying is an important input to playing defense, it doesn't make you a good defender. It just makes you better than Avid Lee.

Why do people who obviously don't watch a player, pretend that they do? I'm confused by this. What do you gain by pretending to know a person's game when you don't?
