Luther Head

Per Adrian Wojnarowski Leather Head invited to Kings training camp. I think it is a good pick up. I remember liking his game with Houston a few years back. Good 3 point shooter. Veteran on the cheap. You can always use shooters.

I hope we sign Head. I think he would fit well with this team.

This is the move pretty much all kings fans were anticipating. We all knew we needed to add a vet guard that can play with udrih or evans and here we did just that. Its a good signing and hes a nice shooter so no ham no foul.
I actually like that we are bringing in giddens he may not make it but hes worth a look.

I approve of this pick up. He hasn't had a good year since 06-07, his second year in the league, but that was also the last time he got minutes. As long as he hasn't lost his three point touch and FT touch, I'd be happy to see him on the floor. Also, he's only 27...he's not a veteran.

He would be a good pickup providing we dont overpay for him .
I would hope it's just a 1 or 2 year deal for cheap !

He would be a solid role player

Head's a good fit, I like it. I was big on Giddens coming out of college and he looked pretty good with Dallas during summer league. I'd be down with both making it for different reasons, too bad we are so deep though.

Thats dirty...

Im a little more now that we have a solid shooter on the team. Beno-Head-Pooh-Sloan... Gonna be a real interesting training camp with those 4.

our outside shooting was really iffy last season. i could tell everyone was tense and up tight about it so the best thing for the team to do right now is get head...i think it'd ease up some of the tension around here. and the good thing if its not that great, find someone else who can do it better!

Sometimes, when it comes to the b/u guys, you need a guy like Head who isn't caring about his shooting percentage and isn't afraid to fire the rock. As was stated above, that is something - with a very youjng team - that we have missed the last couple of years.

It will be nice to see how things shake out in camp.
