They have to make sure his gout is under control because when that flares up, you can't even move that extremity without severe pain.

Clifton Smith signed with Miami. He said he liked Green Bay but moving his family up to Green Bay was a lot more difficult than moving to Miami... At least the Packers are aware that they should be looking to upgrade the return positions and will go after a guy if he's a good fit.
The Packers also brought in former Detroit and Jacksonville safety Gerald Alexander for a workout. We didn't sign him.
