Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
The Chicago Bulls, who have had trouble accurately crossing players off lists, re-select Chris Wilcox. I hope Wilcox does not feel slighted, I doubt he will see the court much anway. But we like his energy, hustle and ability to get up and down the court in short bursts.

Bulls are back up too, Blair was already picked
Kings, Mavs and Clippers (x2) were skipped
Then
76ers
Pistons
EDIT: Got PMs out to those with skipped picks and to KayZee for the current pick. Everyone make sure to check in here regularly though, with 2 hour picks we get skipped picks constantly and it gets too hectic for me to be able to get PMs out all the time.
Mavs were skipped? I had Qwigglez pick Brandon Wright for me.
I Dont wanna be here

Then I will take John Calipari and start the Dribble Drive Motion which fits perfectly to my team's strengths.

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
76ers have been skipped and I'm up!
The Pistons are thrilled that yet another one of our optimistic targets has fallen to us. Introducing...

Roger Mason, Jr!
Our bench is shaping up just the way we want it, but we decided we still needed a veteran SG who can come in with variable playing time and hit big shots. Mason comes on a cheap contract as well, unlike a couple other sharpshooters out there. We plan to use him to spread the floor, hit big shots off the bench and in clutch situations as an offset to Kobe.
We've structured our bench so that any combination of our starter/bench players can play together, as well as the ability of our bench players to operate as their own unit when we can afford to rest the starters.
285. Raptors up
Bobcats and 76ers each have 1 skipped pick
286. Kings
287. Cavaliers
288. Warriors
289. Hawks

With the #285 Pick in the draft, the Raptors are happy to welcome.....
Linas Kleiza!!!!!
I am not positive and if anyone knows, please chim in. But I think is contract is about $18.8 Million over 4 years.
Anyways, Kleiza will bring great energy off the bench.

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
Rules Clarification
We've had the issue come up of players who are not currently signed with an NBA team.
First step is to wait until the draft is over; if the player gets signed between now and then, their contracted salary will prevail.
If they are NOT signed by the end of the draft, we will put them on a minimum salary as set by the minimum salary scale (depends on how many years they've played in the NBA). I pasted the actual minimum salary figures based on years pro into the bottom of the OP.
The most recent example is Iverson, who was picked last round. Having played over 10 years in the NBA, his salary for our intents and purposes will be $1.352 million (taken from the OP) if he is not signed by the end of the draft.
But remember it has to be realistic that a player might play again in the NBA, so no officially retired players.
