Three days ago the team won its 8th straight while the Rays were losing 2 out of 3 to the Orioles, now we are struggling with Baltimore and its because we are old and going through the motions.

Offense is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Jeter with a grand total of 5 hits in his last 11 games. I am so glad he gets to hit first or second every game. Only on the Yankees, any other team and he would be hitting 8th or 9th.

You can thank Mr. below .700 OPS. Mr below .330 OBP who gets to hit 1st or 2nd all of the time.

Some team player and captain the Yankees have. If Jeter really were a team player/captain, he would go to the Managers office and ask to be put in the bottom 3rd of the lineup.

Nope, we get a Jeter who continues to suck and is day dreaming about the 3-4 60-80 million contract he thinks he get.

Girardi has to pinch hit Posada for Cervelli in that spot, I don't understand why he didn't.

Pretty similar to the 1997 Yankees. They got swept by the Phillies who were a beyond horrible team On Labor Day to Wednesday of 1997.

Clueless Joe 2.0 do something right? You are dreaming. This is the same guy who bunts with Gardner to get to the Captain and his .698 OPS.

but otherwise, id be hard pressed to disagree with you, the guy makes some real bad baseball decisions

Swisher bails out Clueless Joe 2.0.

Joe is too loyal to a fault. Get Jeter out of the top of the lineup.

I knew Girardi couldn't be that stupid. Posada has concussion-like symptoms and may not make the trip to Texas. They said he got tests last night and went to the neurologist today to get further tests done. Hopefully it isn't too bad and he can come back soon.

Ah, I love Yankee fans...not even 1 year from winning the World Series, we're already b*tching up a storm with second guessing a manager.

If you're a glass half full guy, the Yanks had another strong start from Nova and grinded out an exciting win.

If you're a glass half empty, the Yanks were lucky to escape a sweep courtesy of the Baltimore O's.

Buck Showalter just won series against the Rays and Yanks...interesting.
