Philly and Washington have agreed to a S&T.

Hawes - $5,500,000 (S&T)

for

Trevor Booker - $1,294,920
HOU 2012 2nd
WAS 2012 2nd

WAS has cap room to absorb the extra salary. Trade works.

Why for Philly?

With Okafor and Dampier in town, Hawes was not going to receive any burn. Philly is looking for true positional players and "tweeners" or "soft" players have been getting replaced in the rotation. Hawes has a unique skill set and we feel it is better for him and for us if he gets more playing time anchoring Washington's front court.

Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors have agreed to another minor deal:

Lakers outgoing:
- 2012 second round draft pick from Toronto (Trade 20)
- $6,883,800 (Nazr Muhommed Trade) (Absorbing with a portion of that TPE)

Raptors outgoing:
James Johnson $1,833,120

Why?
We have 4 second round picks next year, and we only need maybe 2 of them, this deal brings in highish pick from last years draft, and gives us even more depth. We love his potential, just hope he can pan out to what we want him to be. Good dealing Bryant08.

Raptors accept, no need for James Johnson as we're stacked the forward spots. This way we get our pick back.

OKC accepts, we have been trying to add Blair since day one of this game. We love his rebounding and he will be a great bench player and won't be asked to do too much. Simply come in and crash the boards. We like Henry alot and wish him well, but with us trying to win now we don't have time to wait and already have another young SG in Harden

OKC loves what Afflalo brings to our team, and think we had to over pay him in FA to get Denver to agree to the trade. Both Tolliver and Mullins are young BIGS that I real really like, but getting our starting SG was more important then our young future talent (which we still have alot of)

The Raptors and Hawks have agreed upon a trade, in lieu of the Raptors signing Al Horford in FA and the two teams being unable to agree upon a sign-and-trade:

for

Brandon Rush $2,956,658
Greg Monroe $3,007,920

The Raptors and Bobcats have agreed upon a double sign-and-trade deal:

Jeff Green $9,300,000
Matt Carroll $3,900,000
for
DeAndre Jordan $6,000,000
Sonny Weems $3,500,000

The Raptors have the cap space to absorb the difference.

Raptors accept. Jeff Green is a stud and Perry Jones is prepared to play the PF spot, with Horford moving up to the center spot he played in Atlanta. With this Eastern Conference, I'm not concerned about our size especially because we have a large SG/SF combo in Turner and Green. Carroll can bring some leadership and shooting off the bench to this young team and Jeff Green can do everything from the SF spot. I'm sorry to let DeAndre and Sonny go, but I can't pass up on Jeff Green and I was regretting not letting Sonny test the market as well.

Charlotte accepts after matching Green. We're sad to see Green go, but are looking forward to the potential that Deandre holds, as well as the energy that Weems can provide on the wing. We shave Carroll off the roster.

EDIT:

I'm pretty sure this should also make a TPE of about $3 million for Charlotte.

The Charlotte Bobcats and Detroit Pistons have agreed upon a deal.

The Bobcats send Mickael Pietrus ($5,300,000), and Desagana Diop ($6,925,400) in exchange for Luke Walton ($5,680,000), 2012 NOH 1st, and Antonio McDyess ($5,220,000).

Bobcats Outgoing/Pistons Incoming: $12,225,400
Pistons Outgoing/Bobcats Incoming: $10,900,000 X 1.25 = $13,625,000

Pistons accept, McDyess was expendable, and we like what Pietrus brings to our team off the bench.

The Pistons and Bobcats have agreed upon a 2nd deal.

The Bobcats send Eduardo Najera in exchange for TPE (have one from the Josh Howard deal).

Pistons accept, part of first deal.

The Bobcats accept. We have a glut of wings and have no use for Diop after our FA signings, and save some salary by acquiring the TPE.

OKC and Milwaukee have agreed to a trade

OKC sends
Nick Collison $6,000,000 (S&T)

MIL sends
D.Jones $2,700,000
K.Dooling $2,052,000
4.752 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 6.04 > 6

THIS WOULD ALSO GIVE OKC A $1,248,000 TPE

OKC hates to lose one of our favorite guys. We really wanted him to stay but could not give him the minutes he wants. The situation in MIL is much better for him and we wish him luck. Jones will be a nice role defensve role player that should see spot min at the 2 and 3. We think we had too many Jayhawks on or roster, even after trading Henry so Nick was next to go

Milwaukee accepts. We really didn't have a role for either player, and Collison will be a valuable piece for our team.

Charlotte and Golden State have reached an agreement involving a S&T for Wilson Chandler.

Charlotte Sends:
Michael Redd - $2,446,200
Luke Walton - $5,680,000 (Pending approval from league on previous trade)
2012 Orlando 1st Round Pick

Golden State Sends:
Wilson Chandler (S&T) - 6.5 / 7.18 / 7.9 / 8.7 / 9.5 / 10.5[TO] (6/50.28)

Charlotte Out: $8,126,200
Golden State Out: $6,500,000 (*1.25 + 100,000 = $8,225,000 > $8,126,200)

For Charlotte this is about consolidating previous trades. Redd is a fantastic player and when on his game a better asset than Chandler, but Charlotte sees more youth in Chandler than Redd, and the chance to build a cohesive team around the same age that can all work together under Larry Brown.

Golden State acquires Redd on a small contract with the chance to have an Olympian at the SG spot, while getting something for Chandler, including a TPE for later use.

The Denver Nuggets and 76'ers have agreed to the following:

Denver will send:

[SF] Josh Childress - 6,000,000
Rights to Shelvin Mack
Total 6 Million

Philadelphia will send:
Jared Dudley - Sign and Trade [ 4.75] [Deal 6 Years/35 Million]
Anthony Tolliver - 3,000,000

7.75

Just far enough under the cap for this deal to work!

We're excited to add Dudley and Tolliver to our team. Both provide much needed defense. The End.
