Now I can see why MLB fired that clown once before. And I can also see why MLB is filled with bigger clowns who re-hired him.

Davidson is just plain incompetent.

He did a Rays game earlier this year (before his infamous blown call in the Marlins game), and ejected Joe Maddon and Carl Crawford.....who rarely instigate anything with umpires.

Davidson's performance behind the plate that night was arguably the worst umpiring performance I had seen in decades.

This guy needs to be ejected from umpiring ASAP

The fan was on the radio last night. He said the line that got him ejected was "How do you like making a living on your knees?"

Really, you eject him for something that mild?

But seriously, Davidson is incompetent at best, and is one of the worst umpires I have ever seen.

And I am one usually reserved in criticizing umpires in general.

I really don't have a problem with Dickerson getting tossed either. The other two were quite commical tho.

I do. He was clearly upset at himself for taking that pitch and not Davidson for calling it a strike. How is slamming your helmet down in frustration any different than breaking a bat over your leg?

Umm, no. Look at it again. Even if Dickerson did say something (which he didn't), Davidson wasn't going to do anything about it. When Dickerson slams his helmet down, Davidson looks down at his helmet and then ejects him.

Really just a stupid move to do right there on a called third strike. Looking at the reply I can see why he got the boot.
