Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
Kings suffer for taking Robin Lopez and Casspi 50 picks too early.
I like the made up of the Hornets. A very well rounded roster...
But I have to say I think its going to be one of our Mods taking it this year.

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
I rushed my picks early on and didn't notice the lack of consistent outside shooting...I think I recovered well and with so many interchangeable parts I'll be ok...still want to move Melo though...Pacers just don't overly like him - but they know his value (insiders tell me) haha

Major upgrade at C, allows you to push KG back to PF and JJ to the bench, and a decent G/F for the bench in Matthews.
Although my team would look out of shape after such a trade, I'm planning on making a major move if this one goes through (hint hint TASTIC).
That's a decent trade but i'm barely under the cap and that would put me over. Sorry
TASTIC wrote:Now...Dez, any interest in moving Manu? Could offer something like Jack + Nocioni for Manu + your last pick?
Sorry i think i'm keeping Manu. Need a few vets with title experience for Lebron. I consider Ginobili the 2nd best player on the squad and untouchable, sorry.

I'm looking to upgrade at the SF position. Everyone is on the trading block except for Westbrook, and Jefferson.

Nice pick, he looks a lot better at #308 than #1 that's for sure

Only player outside of Westbrook that I'd like is Turner, which obviously isn't overly fair from your end

Hey Tastic, just wondering... does anything outside of Wade on my roster interest you in terms of trading Melo?

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
I'd like Murphy, but Melo would cost Wade
So starting with Melo, what would Wade + Murphy cost? Considering you're a bit over the cap now, would you consider something like Melo, Nocioni, Jerebko for Wade, Murphy, next pick or Barnes?

The Blazers were aware of this when he was drafted, but the hit against the cap remains 5.6mil, and our owners are fine with paying the extra money as long as we don't enter luxury territory.

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
What about this bit though?
"Matthews, who couldn't sign a deal for next season that had a salary cap number for more than the mid-level exception of $5.765 million, although he actually will get $9 million overall next season due to a signing bonus that front-loaded the contract."

The Timberwolves select Ryan Gomes
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
