Spurs selects Daequan Cook.

He didn't shoot too well from downtown last season but I believe he will do just fine in a new environment. Plus he's affordable.

It has been 2 hours since the Spurs were up so I will assume they are skipped as well and make my pick.

The Chicago Bulls, with their 11th pick of the draft select Jeff Pendergraph. Much love for the former Sun Devil.

Looks like 6 picks before me and since we're going by 2 hours now my time should be at 8:47 AM pacific time at the latest.

So Miklo I guess I'll just PM you my picks in a few hours and you can post them than since I'll likely still be sleeping.

With the 327th pick in the draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select...

Image

Tony Allen!

Tony Allen is an awesome player to have coming off the bench. He is a great man to man defender, who has played on a championship caliber team for the better part of his career and therefore knows what it takes to be successful. With a relatively young and talent filled roster, Allen will be looked to for stability and leadership off the bench and will provide an abundance of experience for the younger players. All in all, Tony Allen is a perfect player to come off the bench and provide energy and experience for our team.

Miklo, your teams looking unreal. All your pieces compliment each other so well, apart from Brooks' not being the best 3 point shooter, your set to make a deep playoff run. I'm loving the makeup of your bench too, other than the weak backup PF spot but looks like you have faith in Sanders :p

Thanks, I'm liking the way the Blazers are shaping up too. I only intend on Sanders to play 10 minutes at most starting out, Thornton and Chandler will be used at PF against different types of opponents (Chandler on Duncan, etc)

great pick man
last round I had a hard time picking between Tony Allen and Dahntay Jones. Very similar players and both are awesome defenders. I finally picked Dahntay because of his awesome name  and he seemed to make less bonehead mistakes than TA

The Nuggets select two very promising international players.

Joel Freeland & Victor Claver

Both are young (23 & 22 respectively) and we will hold their rights for the immediate future.
