Nash for a power forward?
I'm just thinking about it. If Nash plays badly this season, maybe before the deadline we could trade him? I'm not sure who for, but without Nash we've got Dragic who's a hell of a player. So, Nash for who? Or Nash + ? for who? Etc. I'm curious.

Lacks green font.
Give a young man with a huge ceiling and keep the 36(?) year old veteran who's going out of the league in the parameter of three years? Niqqa please.

Yes, I'm mentally (Please Use More Appropriate Word).
I don't care if we've had him here for long, he's one of my favorite players of all time, but we need a power forward that's the right size badly, we've got Dragic and I'm happy about that. I'm not saying we MUST TRADE NASH! I'm just giving a suggestion, if you disagree write a constructive post, and refrain from flaming please.

The only issue is we would get absolutely squat for him.

Yeah well, stuff can happen.... People want Nash on there roster, and that's a big motivation.

Only people who'd do it are teams on the verge of a championship. Lakers, Magic, Celtics... I don't think they've got anything of any interest long term. No thank you.
Nash deserves to end his career here anyways, he resigned the one year he didn't make the playoffs. The guys a class act and a perfect example of real loyalty, unlike all the other backstabbing self promoting super stars who have to leave their teams to make a handful of superteams and chase a title. I have more respect for Nash than any other player in the league

Re: Nash for a power forward?
Until the Suns can prove that they can win well without Nash ( more than once), then maybe. But Nash makes this team run, and without him, they more than likely won't run.
I understand that the off season is longer than most fans care to admit, but lets watch this team in action before we start trading the face of our team.

Nash/Warrick for Randolph/Felton. Depends on how bad Mike wants him back.

Re: Nash for a power forward?
Now that we are committed to Hedo, Frye, Childress long term, its ridiculous to trade away Nash. If we were gonna do it, should have done it when Amare went to NY and started from scratch.
I Dont wanna be here

Wow, old man Nash is sure undervalued around here for some odd reason. I bet the Blazers have interest in Nash, and in the matter of a year may have to part ways with one of their young pieces (ie. Lamarcus Aldrige) because the new CBA might put them in a terrible financial position. No matter how big PA's pockets are, it might get a ridiculous down there with extensions for Oden and Batum on their way as well.

My money says they dont extend Oden. How many games has he played? 82 out of 258.. Pitiful, just pitiful.
I like the NY idea. People also need to remember that if and i say IF the Suns were ever even thinking about trading Nash, it would HAVE to be to a team that he ok's.

Re: Nash for a power forward?
I think the trade DD mentioned for 'Magic' Randolph is the closest to young talent as we'll get for an old Nash.

There is no way they don't extend Oden.
Firstly, when healthy, Oden is one of the top centers in the league. When he did actually play, the Blazer's became a much better at defense and rebounding.
And secondly, not extending Oden will make the Trail-Blazers organisation look like the biggest toolshed in the NBA. By having Durant play like he is now, and not extending the guy that was drafted before him, will show how big of a mistake passing on Durant really was.
