A combination of a possible epic collapse here + the Bears winning the way they did thus putting them in sole possession of first place for the next week would have made me literally puke.

Ugly, but I'll take it.

So, who was injured today?

Collins
Harrell
Grant

Anyone else?

Outstanding win.

Given our schedule, I was thinking this would be our toughest game until week 7 against the Vikings. I'll take the W no matter how we look. Hopefully the guys that were hurt aren't that banged up.

Meh. Its the first week.

27-10 going into the 4th with Vick at QB.

If you're a legit super bowl contender you don't lose this game, bottomline.

We won it so no worries.

Its still meh.

It would have seriously sucked to have lost this game, but the whole "SB teams don't lose these games" talk doesn't fly. Just look back at some of the losses SB teams had have over the last 5 years.

I know it got a lot closer than we thought, but to be fair we had to COMPLETELY change our defensive gameplan on a wing after Kolb got injured. We had to be ready for Vick a little bit, but going from a pocket passer to an elusive run-first quarterback it's going to screw with you a little bit.

Collins is fine. He was in on that 4th and 1 play I saw him jumping around.

Going into the game I would agree with you but given the situation (27-10,Vick@QB) I think it would have been a very bad loss.

We won it though so lets go on a run,I agree this might have been our toughest game till we play Minny.

Don't sell Vick short here, the guy used to be really really good at times and it isn't like he had some career-changing injury, he was just away from football for a few years.

Up 27-10 against any QB going into the 4th should be a win but I wouldn't say that Vick made it any more disappointing that we almost blew it. Not only is he good, but we really only prepared to see him for 5-10 plays and not as their main QB in regular formations.

Exception = the rule

People need to stop with this nonsense on sports' message boards that one event disproves someone's statement. It's usually prompted by the emotion of the moment. Did giving me an erroneous in your face put the cherry on top of your Sunday Sundae? :P

The last two seasons, plus the events leading up in today's game, did not cease to exist because of one play. One shrewd acquisition by Ted on defense does not prove that he built a defense the team won't have to win in spite of.

The events of today further indicate that the same problems on the defense still exist, they don't refute it, unfortunately. I wish they did.

Packers beat a good team on the road and the defense plays very well... Then all some people can do is bitch about Ted Thompson.

If it wasn't obvious certain people had an agenda, it's pretty clear now.

Yep the D was better than the O today. If you are going to go after Ted after today's game go after him for the **** Oline.

I have a relative who is a Favre jockers and TT basher and as soon as Clay started playing well last year he swears up and down that Clay is on roids.

Hey what can you do? Some people just love to bust out the thesaurus and have a go at the guy, even when it looks laughably obvious they have an agenda. Never mind that the defense game planned for one guy, completely shut him down and when that guy went out they had to completely throw out everything they had worked on and wing it. That and being gassed by the end.

I like Clay Matthews, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was on roids. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if any football player was on steroids. :P
