C: Cole Aldrich
PF: Jeff Green (personally thought it will be worth a try to put Serge Ibaka in the starting lineup and Jeff Green as one of the two "sixth man", James Harden being the other)
SF: Kevin Durant
SG: Thabo Sefolosha
PG: Russell Westbrook

Sixth man: James Harden
Phoenix Suns
San Francisco 49ers
UCLA Bruins

I am looking forward to see how this shakes out. I think there will be some changes made.

Durant and Westbrook are the only locks to start coming into camp. The rest should all be up for grabs in my opinion.

Hopefully we see

PG Westbrook
SG Harden
SF Durant
PF Ibaka
C ????????

6th Green

Going off of last season I thought Collison and Ibaka pair up together very well in the front court. Although Collison is giving up height at Center he is a damn good team defender who doesn't mind sacraficing his body for the team.

I don't think a green rookie Cole Aldrich is going to be better than a grizzled Nick Collison at the start of the season. And after this past meley between Serbia and Greece I hope Nenad is gone before the start of the season. I have always viewed him as a short term stop gap until this team matured and could find a better option. But after the FIBA fiasco I have completely soured on him and am not looking forward to seeing him in a OKC uniform. Plus I just like what Collison brings to the table more than a soft euro balding vagina.

That said I hope by the All-Star break Cole Aldrich is able to earn the starting spot in the line up.

Start of the season.

PG Westbrook
SG Harden
SF Durant
PF Ibaka
C Collison

After the All-Star break,

PG Westbrook
SG Harden
SF Durant
PF Ibaka
C Aldrich

I liked the fire Nenad showed but I dont think he's out long term starter.

What I want

Westbrook
Thabo
Durant
Ibaka
Aldrich

Green
Harden

What we'll see IMO

Westbrook
Thabo
KD
Green
Krystic

yup that's right - the same starters that got us 50 wins. At least in the short term (till January) I think these are our starters.

Westbrook / Sefolosha / Durant / Green / Krstic

I don't think Brooks will change anything unless there are injuries.

I would like to see at least James Harden starting. I think that's most important to the success of our lineup. I'd be thrilled if Jeff Green were benched but I really doubt it happens.

After reading an article on Thunder.com it looks like Harden and Maynor are working out together and are working on thier connection with each other. - sounded like HArden is expecting to come off the bench. - i might be reading to much into ot though.

I agree with slick and Clangus. I think the starting lineup stays the same for the majority of the season if not all.

Westbrook
Sefolosha
Durant
Green
Krstic

bench of...
Maynor
Harden
Ibaka
Collison
Aldrich

Krstic and Collison will probably see less time to make room for Aldrich.

PG Westbrook
SG Sefalosha
SF Durant
PF Green
C Ibaka

Harden - 6th man
Kristic will still be 25 min. a game.

I want Aldrich and Maynor to get as many minutes as possible but they are going to have to work hard for them as they will not be prominently featured in the rotation.

If Brooks and the front office truely run out the exact same line up, not only will I be dissappointed but I will also have a greater concern for the team in general.

To me that would say they are managing ego's and not players. There should be three spots completely up for grabs. As good as Jeff Green is, he isn't good enough to simply have the starting PF spot simply handed to him. Thabo is a very nice role player to have and I believe he is under valued to a degree, but James Harden needs to start.

And Krstic...don't even get me started.

This team should be and always be, about fielding the best players that give the "TEAM" the best chance to win. And if that means stepping on Jeff Green's toes, then so be it.

Green's game is the ideal for the 6th man. Let Ibaka lock up the Gasol's, West's, Aldridge's and Scola's in the West. Then bring Green in with the second unit. He would feast going against the second unit.

I hope Serge Ibaka continues to improve this season as I'd love to see him as a starting PF with Cole Aldrich developing as the season progresses to start at C ahead of Krstic or Collison.

Jeff Green is an amazing player, but he doesn't have the size or defensive ability to guard most PF's in the NBA at the moment, and I reckon he'd be much better suited to a 6th man role like Odom has with the Lakers, getting minutes at both SF and PF depending on who's benched.

James Harden should also move in and get the start in front of Thabo, since he's been spending a lot of his summer working on his defense he has the potential to be a player well worth an MLE in a year or two, and he has more offensive weapons than the big T.

So.... may not be at the start of the season, but in my dream world I hope to see -

PG - Westbrook
SG - Harden
SF - Durant
PF - Ibaka
C - Aldrich
6th and 7th men - Jeff Green/Thabo Sefolosha.

Also, hi. I'm new!

The OP is an obvious fantasy league spammer. Doubt he cares what the line-up is after the all-star break. And if you're Wiffler, you've already abandoned your fantasy team long before that time.

Probably its not a good idea at all, but how about this:

Westbrook
Harden
Durant
Aldrich
Krstic

This would solve our "PF problem" at least.
