1. Los Angeles Lakers, B2B NBA Champions, I've bled purple and gold since nearly birth, like many of us.
2. Baltimore Ravens, I truly believe this is one of the best organizations in all of sports (from top to bottom) no one pays much attention to and I think they are going to reel off a few Championships sooner rather than later. Every year I follow their transactions as they get stronger and stronger, younger and smarter. Suggs might be the defensive player of the year this season, he's a BEAST.
With no teams in Southern California I fell in love with their defense in their SB victory in 2001, and have followed them since. I rooted for the Raiders but was so tired of the moronic fans and the commitment to losing. Remember that Raider fan that stabbed the Chargers fan at the SD game WTF!
3. San Francisco Giants, fighting for their playoff lives. They have the best pitching in baseball top to bottom, and tough veterans that have been castoffs from other teams.
I rooted for the Dodgers as a kid, but after the O'Malley's left, I looked elsewhere to the hated ones, the battery chuckers, and I haven't looked back since. I loved the Giants uni's and I loved how they always fought and grind out games, so unlike the easy breezy lemon peezy Dodgers. I love Vinny though

4. Duke Blue Devils, best rivalry in all of sports IMO UNC/DUKE, nearly their entire season is on ESPN for free, and I wasn't a UNC fan eventhough we got Mitch, Sam, and Big Game from them. I pretty much blindly select Duke every year as my champion in the tourney and work my way backwards making my picks. Finally it paid off, small pool $180 bucks for a $20 risk.
