IT'S PRETTY BOY FLOYD VS CJ WATSON! Watson's 6'2 175 lbs. If we were talking Ben Wallace vs Mayweather this might be a discussion.

So you've seen CJ fight before? If Mayweather connects on a good shot it's lights out but if he doesn't and Watson uses that 175lb body on the 150lb Mayweather and gets him to the ground, he just may hold his own

lol at anyone thinking floyd would handle his own business in a street fight. he doesnt have to. hes got a small army of giant, juiced up gorillas and hangers-on in his entourage who are willing to "ride" for him.

I don't care how great of a boxer Mayweather is. NBA players are perhaps the best all around athletes in the world.

You think Mayweather could take Jordan is his prime? Wade? Pip? Artest? Derron Williams? I don't. I think those guys would destroy him.

And yeah, I know, CJ is only 6' 2", but I think Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, and Chauncey Billups could handle him as well in a street fight. Even guys like Kirk and Rondo who are skinnier would give Mayweather problems.

There's a big difference between being in a ring with rules and actually doing MMA/ street fight. All people are saying is if Mayweather doesn't knock CJ out with his first punch there's a good chance CJ can use his size and get Floyd to the ground and negate his boxing.

I think you're vastly underrating how much stronger Floyd likely is than Watson. It's likely that he has twice the upper body strength as Watson and all of his strength is in areas used for beating people up. Unless there is some reason to expect that Watson is a black belt or has some other grappling background beyond a rudimentary level, even if it was a grappling match Floyd would likely pummel the hell out of Watson.

have u seen basketball players fight? the majority of them are grade A pussies who dont even know how to throw a punch.

...and again, mayweather doesnt have to street fight anyone. EVER. he would rather get someone to shoot them and get off free like he did last time.

But most street fight don't happen standing up. It almost always goes down to the ground. With CJ's height, I doubt Mayweather could sneak one in before CJ takes him down. And once it's on the ground, Mayweather's punching power won't matter.

After the kick Chuck was so impressed he allowed CJ to suckle from his nip which in turn has given him super strength and ninja capabilities.

i said the majority. artest actually has a background in boxing.
being an athlete doesnt automatically make u someone who could hold his own vs someone who fights for a living.

It's irrelevant.

I'm not discussing whether Floyd could punch him out. I'm noting that Floyd has a ton more upper body strength and would kick his ass in a grappling fight.

There is literally no evidence presented in this thread to support the idea that CJ Watson would stand any chance in a fight except the completely made up theory that maybe he was a street fighter or wrestler in high school or has some other fighting training.

I'd imagine that while a professional MMA guy would pummel the hell out of Floyd and take him to the ground easily, but I'd imagine that Floyd has more than enough experience to avoid a take down from a regular guy.
