PG - Baron
SG - Gordon
C - Kaman
PF - Griffin
SF - Gomes
With Butler, Foye, Jordan, and Smith in the rotation. Later in the season Bledsoe may join the rotation. Aminu may get garbage mins early; inactive most of the time any two of Blakely, Cook, or Warren. I expect Blakely and Warren to see some time in the D-league. Cook, because of his 3 pt shot, may see some time at the 3 spot, offensively anyway-----especially early in the season/preseason. Don't think he'll show much though.

PG - Baron.
SG - Gordon.
SF - Gomes.
PF - Griffen.
C - Kaman.
After the all star break however, I see Al Farouq being our starting small forward.

I say Butler starts because his 3 point shooting is too valuable not to start. Didnt he break a franchise record for 3's made in a season last year too?

I was thinking Gomes should start, but the more I think about it, the more I think Butler should start, at least to begin the season with. This way, Bulter won't be as upset if Gomes takes his starting role by earning it through his play, rather than coming in as a free agent and taking his spot straight away.
Both Butler and Gomes are about 36% 3pt shooters, but Butler takes more 3's than Gomes. Hopefully Butler's % goes up with the space created by Griffin.

PG - B. Davis/E. Bledsoe
SG - E. Gordon/R. Foye
SF - R. Butler/R. Gomes
PF - B. Griffin/C. Smith
C - C. Kaman/D. Jordan
I think that's the 10-man rotation but I really would like the Clippers to go out and sign someone like Earl Watson because Eric Bledsoe turns over the ball way too much and won't be ready once the season starts.

Baron, EJ, Blake & Kaman are a given as starters. I think they'll be a battle for the 3 spot.
Our starters played much better with Butler as a starter last season even when he was struggling. With Camby instead of Blake, we had a winning record with that line-up. Butler allowed for better spacing on the floor. Gomes has a better percentage, but Butler is more of a 3 point threat based on volume. Gomes would provide more size and better rebounding, but could be well-suited coming off the bench with old running mates, Randy Foye and Craig Smith.

Not sure who i'd prefer to start over Butler and Gomes but what i do hope, is that Aminu proves he has something to offer and during the seasons gets increased minutes. I see him possibly as a great hustler/rebounder/defender which could work well as a starter, with shooters in Butler/Gomes off the bench or visa versa. I'm looking forward to the upcoming season though, wanting Warren to be active preferbly over Cook at least.
