inexcuseable offensive display.. still the best defense in the league by far... if not for the penalties, ravens don't get pass midfield.. worst offensive performance in my life as a jet fan.. 25 plus years.. and the pats come to town.. great...

And even our defense can get a few people frustrated. We gave more penalties for first downs than our offense could muster.

How many times was Sanchez allowed to throw downfield? Then again, the o-line wouldn't give that amount of time, especially not-Faneca (Slauson).

yea, the wilson one that led to the TD hurt the most, but still, your offense can't get 10 points?

Especially with our average start position! We were near midfield for over half of of them (or at least it felt like it).

The only hope is Santonio Holmes coming back, but with that playcalling, it's hard to see how that matters.

Is there any question that Fireman Ed is an ****? He just needs to calm down. At the end of the day the Jets lost by one point to likely the best team in the AFC

yea, suspect play calling, but the penalties killed us.. if wilson doesn't get that penalty, we probably win this game 9-3.. And I don't like how they sat green after the fumble. but green has that problem, remember vs miami last year that fumble that led to a jason taylor TD.. the guy has problems.. the jets were dumb this offseason. Letting jones go, who was perfect for this offense, he was a sledge hammer. cutting faneca was a joke!!! looking at who we have starting now... the jets pretty much weakened one of our biggest offense strengths last year.. our line and RB..

we have the pats comming in.. this can be an ugly season looking at this offense.. at some point, the defensive players are going to start complaining... about the offensive ineptitude..

I expect them to win next week. If Jenkins is back it'll only be sweeter. He makes the team elite. When he isnt their their great but with him in their super. Next I think everyones butterflies were licked out of their stoamchs, especially Keller. I wish Ray popped Sanchez like that cuz I swear that kid is afraid to get hit. Why play that position if you are afraid to take a hit? This is why it would be so awesome of a guy like Vick was on this team. Did u see when he was scrambling and he ran into the defender and HE got injured not Vick? That's a QB. This is why I say Eagles start him. Sanchez also needs to stop being afraid of throwing picks. So what u threw an INT! Thats why u have the number 1 D. Cuz when u make a mistake they get the ball back in ur hands. Sanchez is still young and green so I dont expect him to learn that fast but I wouldn't rule out bringing in Namath to help him out if I was the Jets.

yea, but I expected more from sanchez. he is young, but this team has "super" expectations.. also Jenkins health is key.. when he is in, we are elite... our rookie CB wilson will be better next game as well as he had some "rookie" not talent problems.. cromartie was fine, there were two penalties on him that were BS.... ignore the game boldin had... we shut the ravens down and boldin was getting catches off of motion plays and some zone coverages.. he really beat no one... if not for the wilson penalty that put them right on the goal line, they don't score more than 3 points.. that horrible call decided the game, and the call before that, where they say edwards ran into the kicker led to that... just a shame..

the pats are going to be tough.. shonn green needs to be ready to play.. he was a huge dissapointment tonight....

LOL The ravens are talking madd shyt like they won 33-9. Well the D at least. I cant wait to see them get destroyed by deep passes this sesason. That's why they won't win the SB. Even with Reed their secondary isnt that good. Their the 3rd best right now behind the Pats and Colts. And we dont hae to worry abt good teams losing as even the Chargers loss tonite. Those penalties were razy tho. Rex needs to take away $1000 for every penalty called on u. I still dont get how u can do the same wrong thing for years after they said it was illegal. BTW if we beat the Patriots, we'll make the playoffs. This game I wasnt even worried abt. I'm more worried abt the Packers, Steelers, and Pats.

Ravens are a lot of talk, and ray lewis has become a gambler on defense as he was getting beat quite a bit tonight on the outside by LT, and shonn greene on one play.. ray will gamble on a play, make a tackle and act as if he won a SB... that team is hilarious... honestly, their offense vs our defense was almost worse.. they turned the ball over, and if not for those ridiculous and somewhat questionable penalties, they don't get past mid field..

But this game was so sloppy by the jets, not a good showing at all, and I expect practice to be hell this week, but sanchez has to look to throw the ball deep.. end of story... and in response to your previous post. I liked the way vick looked in philly, he should start...

I think Shonn Greene showed a lot of nerves and hopefully that passes going into next week. Sanchez and Schotty are NOT on the same page, Sanchez seemed confused before the snap too often and it let to some O-Line mistakes. You HAVE to test the team downfield in ANY game, let alone one where they're stacking the box constantly and daring you to take a risk. I've never been a fan of our "genius" and the pre-season to now, it's only gotten worse.

Skip Bayless just said everything I though just now. How could the Jets have won if Sanchez can't even throw downfield out of fear. That's all I heard on MNF. Jaws kept saying why isnt he letting the play develop and I seriously think thye should give Brunell some reps with the 1s see how he does and put him in if Sanchez plays like this again. Bayless and Jemele Hill also made a good point that maybe Rex is not letting Sanchez spread his wings on offense and he's trying to undervalue his skill. He has alot of potential and needs to crawl before he can walk. Hopefully they can be 3-1 when Holmes and Pace come back. I see them beating the Pats with alot on the line. Noone wants to get beat at home 2wice.
If not they go 2-2 since the Dolpins and Bills are nowhere near as good as the Pats and Ravens.
