Do you still think Jennings would be good in NYC
As much as I love his game. The tweets, the comments, the weird dancing. I just don't think would have been a good match. I think his mouth would have simply gotten him in too much trouble. Its cute in Milwaukee. But wouldn't go over well in NYC!

I never thought his skills or his attitude was a match here.

Nope. Just like Lance.
They may succeed somewhere else but I wouldn't chance it here...more for their sake than ours.

This is more of a case of people not wanting to dwell on the past. Jennings would have been an excellent PG in D'antoni's offense.
If he was producing, you all wouldn't have minded his attitude either.

D'Antoni seemed to have disagreed.

And you agree with Jordan Hill being a better fit? Not seeing a real point there.

Jordan Hill was insurance for David Lee. I thought he could develop with time, but he did play like a deer in headlights. Skill wise, being an athletic big with a jumper, yes, he could have been a good fit.
D'Antoni supported that over a player who is not a real PG.

Did you watch Jennings play? He may not be a true point guard, but he can facilitate. At his age, he has a decent stroke that will only develop. Not to mention he's quick. How does that not fit with D'Antoni's offense? Hill was not an insurance pick. You do not take "insurance" in the Top 10 of the lottery
Do you honestly, think D'Antoni wouldn't take Brandon Jennings if he could do it over again?

I've watched Jennings play plenty. He still doesn't really do it for me at the PG spot.
I don't know what Mike or Donnie would do a second time around, but the real question is would D'Antoni take Jennings over Felton

Since everybody wants to talk about potential around here, then I would say he would take the electric young super star potential Jennings.

Uhh...no. Since when is everyone in the league a super star? There seems to be so many of those nowadays.
The only thing Jennings has on Felton is youth. Other than that, there isn't really anything he does better.

Lebron, Wade, Durant, Kobe are superstars.
Potential is best case scenario. After his Rookie year, he warrants the potential superstar tag.

What exactly about his rookie year suggested he would ever go on to have the impact of a Lebron, Wade, Durant, or Kobe?
Was it his 37% FG shooting?
His nearly 3 TO's to get almost 6 assists?
Was it his 47% TS%
His poor defense?
His bad shot selection?
His inability to finish at the rim?
If Jennings is a super star, so is Monta Ellis

Maybe it was the fact that he led his undermanned team into a playoff series and almost pulled off the upset. Yes, he had a few bad games, but he was the leader of that team with Bogut out. Don't try putting that label on Salmons.

If Jennings is a superstar, why isn't Monta Ellis?

Lets just say we dodged a bullet by passing on this idiot
The Knicks preschool officially went out of business 2 years ago and no longer do we have the time to be babysitting little immature infants.
We are finally back on track and we got goals to win with grown ass men, keep all this childish stupidity away from my team

Yeah, the fact that they were 24-28 without Salmons, and 22-8 with him, clearly shows that he wasn't the leader of that team. Your logic is invincible.
