Corporate control in society is probably the number one problem we face today as humans. I think that many people would be astounded if they understood how many decisions in life that affect us everyday have nothing to do with direct government policy and are influenced heavily by corporate pressure.
For sure it's an issue, but I think you go WAYYYYYY too far in saying it's the number one problem we face as humans lol...AIDS? Cancer? Homelessness, famine, poverty, discrimination, war, pollution...the list goes on for paragraphs before I start worrying about Nike. Sure Wal-Mart is killing the American economy, but is that really the biggest issue in the world? lol.
Anyhow, corporate control is just not applicable to him; because he thinks he's a superstar, when in reality he's a borderline scrub, no joke. If he shoots under 40% again this year I will safely write him off as nothing more than Ray Felton with a bigass mouth/ego. I just can't get over the fact that he took 15 shots to score 15 points...
A lot of times an opinion on this topic is based on how much actual knowledge you have about the problem. This information is disguised or hidden or blatantly lied about at levels that are truly sickening. The problems with banking alone are so astonishing once the layers unfold that I am pretty sure I am not over stating my opinion in the slightest. A lot of the problems you mentioned are symptoms of exactly what I was referring to poverty, war and pollution for example.
