So what was that fallacy that the Yanks are better off on the road with Hughes? In the playoffs home or away, you're facing the top line ups. Again, I think Hughes has reached his innings limit. Hopefully with Pettitte on the mound Sunday, order is restored.

Great series, every game determined by 1 run. So now begins the question, do the Yanks throw in the towel and rest the old guys, Joba, Hughes, etc.

throw in the towel for what?

Boston is only 6 games back of us with 6 H-H matchups...this team has gone 2-8 down the home stretch, for a team with WS aspirations, that is downright unacceptable

That's a great idea with the Yankees 2-8 in their last 10, lets just throw in the towel with Boston 6 games back and miss the playoffs completely. They have another 4 game set with TB, 3 game set with Boston, and end the season with TOR and BOS on the road. Why in the world would the Yankees throw in the towel?

They won't.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
