Re: GHill Q&A
Great article! I have been a huge fan of GHILL since his Detroit days, I am glad he joined the Suns family. Now we just have to reward guys like Nash and him with a championship.

"Wanted", as in past tense, being the key word in that.
Sadly, NF33IH's child bearing days are past him....

Re: GHill Q&A
lol - who would have guessed that you wouldnt like that idea??
I want more perimeter play in our starting lineup, as well as the fact that grant hill needs more plays run for him - he is too good to be underutilized. Bringing dudley in at SF (or moving turk to SF and starting frye at PF - will give either dudley or frye the chance to maximise their talents (which are primarily talents that done require them to have the ball in their hands and create for themselves like hill) means they can play catch and shoot roles alongside nash and our go to players like Jrich and lopez
then - hill leads the way off the bench as the primary scoring option and also a facilitator for the important second unit
I am all for him playing MORE minutes, but I would like to see those minutes used as the anchor of a second unit while using a player who isnt as good with the ball in his hands in the first unit
just my thoughts - not a knock on your boy

Re: GHill Q&A
^^^You do remember how well he plays off the bench right?
Besides that, I don't necessarily agree that he needs the ball in his hands. He gets a lot of baskets where he is on a fast break or cutting to the basket from Nash, also the corner 3. Sure he also has his mid range game where he creates for himself, but IMO this was out of necessity as Nash was the only other person in the starting line-up who could actually take someone off the dribble last season (no I wouldn't say J-Rich was an option for that). Now add Turkeyglue to the mix and all of a sudden the need for Hill to create for himself will be smaller.
Also, how much "perimeter" play do you want in your starting line-up? Hedo, J-Rich and Nash all there. Not to mention that Old Man Hill is still our best perimeter defender.
Just like you this in just my opinion not a knock on your thoughts.

Re: GHill Q&A
I do remember how well be plays off the bench - but thats just something he needs to get over and push through - hes a vet and im sure he could adjust.
in regards to needing the ball in his hands - lets agree on one thing, for grant hill to be used to the best of his abilities, he needs the ball in his hands more than dudley or frye who are moreso just catch and shoot players. So with the bench unit he should get more chances to be used to his fullest, and also a guy like frye and dudley can play with nash more to maximise their talents and minimise there deficiencies.
as for perimeter play, I remember the small ball year with nash JJ Q Marion and amare, and I LOVED the 4 genuine 3 point threats out there with one big and believe that if we had that again then it should really open things up for lopez.
I want hill to get more shots, more plays etc than hes getting now, so I definately dont want to "demote" him as such, I just see a window where we could use the parts we have more effectively for the greater good of the team
regardless - should be a fun season. For some reason I see hill signing a 2 year deal with the heat after this season.
