Vick Starting Sunday vs Lions

Post#1 » by Q00 » Fri Sep 17, 2010 3:38 am

I think this can work in the Lions favor, because the Lions weakness defensively is also Vicks weakness - the passing game.

And Vicks strength - running, coincides with the Lions strength - the D-Line.

So it will be a good matchup, that will probably come down to if pur D-Line's pressure is better than Vicks scramble ability.

I think I'll take that matchup over a QB that could sit back and pick apart our secondary w/ the passing game.

Should be a good game. I hope t gets sold out so we can actually see it. I haven't seen a Lions victory since 2007 I think. None in 2008. The first against WASH was blacked out last year, and I think the second against CLE was too, but I didn't see it either way, for whatever reason I was doing some thing else that day.

Its really unbelievable that since that 6-3 start in 2007, they've only won 3 games since!

Especially considering I thought they had turned the corner after that 6th victory that year. If someone said they would only win 3 more games over the next 3 years at that time, I would've said no way., lol.

When Vick was a free agent the lions could have got him last season instead they keeped culpepper.Another go figure?

Yep. Just one of the many talented and good football players that we ignored so that we could have roster spots for illogical players like Shaun Hill and Culpepper.

Return to Detroit Lions
