I have not watched wrestling in a while got more into MMA. Its the same old predictable story lines and they do not have a strong personality like they did with hogan, stone cold, rock and others.

Current superstars like cena, jericho, miz and other guys are not interesting to watch.

To say Triple H isn't a top 10 heel of all time shows that you know nothing about a wrestling heel. First of all Triple H was already a main eventer before he started dating Stephanie, and he won a world title before then as well. By the Kliq who exactly are you talking about? Nash and Hall? they had been left for WCW a few years back. Shawn Michaels? maybe he played some what of a role being favorable by Vince but so what? that just means Shawn had a good eye for talent, and helped his friend out a bit. X-pac? don't make me laugh. Triple H may have been a bit selfish backstage at times but it doesn't take away that he was talented enough to be where he was. Name anybody in the WWE from over the last 13 years that got more heat then Triple H. Go ahead and list out 10 people ahead of The Game.

I just got around to reading this; thanks for the laugh.

First of all, heels that were better than HHH: Ted DiBiase, The Iron Sheik, Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jake Roberts, The Rock, Vince McMahon, Brian Pillman, Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude, Bret Hart, Freddie Blassie, King Kong Bundy, Abdullah the Butcher, The Sheik, Andre the Giant, Curt Hennig, Terry Funk, Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Randy Savage, Nikita Koloff, Ray Stevens. . . do I need to go on?

And by The Kliq, I mean all of the above you listed. In case you didn't know, as soon as Hall and Nash left, Vince was scared ****less of Shawn leaving to go join them in WCW and actually stripped Bret of the belt to keep Shawn happy. So you keep Shawn happy, he stays. You keep Shawn's friends happy, they stay - which means he stays. Freshen up on your history a bit before you sound like a total moron and totally ignorant to the backstage politics that take place in wrestling. The fact is, if Rock was the one pounding Steph and pumping roids, he'd probably still have the belt to this day. Or maybe not; I can't picture him being as big a crybaby or a kiss ass like Trips is known to be.

Just wanted to participate...

Drew McIntyre pretty much blows, and yet when he debuted he instantly became one of my favourites because his whole program was annihilating R-Truth.

I cannot effing stand R-Truth. His "theme song" makes me want to rip off my own arm just so I have something to beat myself unconscious with. I don't even care how good a wrestler he is, I just want him gone.

If anyone is stale in the WWE, it's R-Truth. How many times can you rap the same song and not expect people to get sick of it. Plus, he's not very good on the mic and really isn't much more than a 2 or 3 trick pony in the ring. He's basically athletic as hell and that's why he's hung on as long as he has, but Cliff Levingston wouldn't bat an eye if he was released.

McIntyre has had a lot of trouble getting over. He's got a lot of talent but there's just something about him that doesn't connect with the crowd. Maybe it's the accent, maybe it's that he's a little over-the-top evil. Regardless, Cliff Levingston thinks they've been a little disappointed in him, but that's just pure speculation.

One of Cliff Levingston's new favorites is Alberto Del Rio. Has anyone has as good a debut in the last 5 years? How awesome was his exchange and then his match with Rey Mysterio? The dude plays the pompous rich bastard role perfectly and his smile and wink are just gold. It's also funny how he has his own ring announcer. He's also very smooth in the ring; he could be a big star on Smackdown going forward.

You can get with this, or you can get with that
You'd better get with this, 'cause this is where it's at

Somebody must have been up all night crafting that gem. I think I'm gonna go stab myself in the brain with an icepick now.

I agree with all of this. And Del Rio definitely has star quality that most guys don't; you absolutely want to watch to see what he does next.

Seems to me like your own personal hatred towards Triple H for all the backstage politicking has blinded you of how talented a heel Triple H actually was on the RAWs, Smackdowns, and the PPVs. Since your entire argument is pretty much about only that. If you honestly believe Triple H didn't do as good a job at being the bad guy drawing heat as all those guys you named then I'm just going to go ahead and agree to disagree with you.
