Team Meeting (Laker Board Members Only)

OK, seeing as we're only about 3 1/2 weeks away from the opening of training camp we know the boards are about to heat up again. This season figures to be one of the most intense based off all the movement in the summer and the fact our team just punk'd the league for the second time.

That said the intensity level on the contending teams boards will spike greatly, as we've seen just on the GB this summer all of the top teams posters have had to squabble with trolls and haters trying to down their teams.

Bringing it back to our board, I'm guessing we'll see our share of trolls and haters too. Especially when we play the contenders. The gist of what I'm getting to is simple, we don't need to lose posters to suspensions or getting warned on other boards.

I know myself, Tony Montana and DubLaker have had our troubles with those issues. Fact is, we have some aggressive, smart posters on this board who know their stuff and will defend the team when somebody steps out of bounds and start talking about stuff they don't know about us or our team.

I want everybody to see this and realize we have good camaraderie here, I like all my board members even the one's I've had little tiffs with......but it was never personal with my gents here. We need to be a strong board as we have always been.

We're going to need everybody to rep our board with class and respect. We know some will come here and push our buttons, our mods will handle those cats......I feel we have the best damn mod team on RGM. It's a reason some mod other boards outside of this one.

When the visitors come sideways we'll do what we do......clown that ass relentlessly and move on, my motto is you gotta show respect to get some. And when it comes to clown'in we got some posters who can bring it and I'm not going to lie...I love it.


So in closing myself personally, I've learn to tame myself a little. I just want the vets and new blood also to realize it's going to be intense. We gotta stick together this coming season. So I want everybody to end whatever beefs they may have with other Laker board members and just remember we're one unit, one team and one family.

Let's get ready fam........soon it's going to be time to ball it up so we can toast it up !

Personally I've never gotten into trouble, but I believe I'm bound to get into some in the near future IMO. Some of the posters in the general board (RipCityLives and jaypo just to name a few) can really tick you off with their **** (Please Use More Appropriate Word) LOL worthy posts. Just stay calm and let our man Kobe and co. do the talking on the court, because we are getting the last laugh with a 3-PEAT!!!!!!

its not really the posters you gotta worry about its the d-bag mods, there are some great ones, and some really bad ones, especially when they see yr a lakers fan....there is one that rhymes with "gashfree" , who hates on laker fans....its ok though, just watch out for them....and listen when our guys say to chill, a good way is to sign out and just read until you calm down...

and stay off the GB if kobe does anything good or bad that day, the hate patrol will be in full effect, unfortunately, some of those are mods...

Seriously the majority of the MODs on the GB are great Mods, but there are a couple who simply have agendas of their own. One even goes as far as singling out members in their Sigs. Some simply give you REVENGE warnings, you know the ones that you own them in a regulare discussion then they come back and give you a petty warning. Anyhow just seems like nobody can even debate or even joke anymore on the GB. There is a difference of simply baiting and having a good time talking b-ball with a little good ol fashion trash talking. Anyhow new members just keep your cool there is always going to be haters and say anything to discredit the Lakers accomplishments.

It's very simple.

Kill people with kindness..You do not know how their life is or what they are going thru on a personal level.

It kills me sometimes when people start getting personal on these boards. Example, calling posters (Please Use More Appropriate Word), loser's, jerks, etc. You never know if they really do have learning dissablities or if they are actually going thru a hard time in their life. So my take is just leave them alone because evidently if you have to stoop that low to make a point then you have some problems of your own. And if a mod suspends or if I get block for some stupid reason. I will just turn my cpu off and go watch t.v. Realgm is not my life.

I rarely go to GB. Too many idiots there. I'd rather have (usually) intelligent discussion found here. When idiots do show up here, it's easy: ignore em.
