Martz made adjustments that Ron Turner never made with us. When the Cowboys were blitzing, Martz went to the quick pass which led to the big Hester gain and Olsen TD.

He may not be impressive, but he's about a zillion times better than what we have now. Our best running back right now is a full back and our #2 running back is terrified to run through a hole and our #3 guy we just picked up off the Falcons practice squad a week ago.

Ryan Grant was very good last season (1,253 yards, 11 TD's).

HELL-ARIOUS. If they had lost both games would you be saying "They faced two teams with a 1-1 record...its not so bad" How do you bring up the records as a negative when the Bears are responsible in part for their records?

The real deal is our run defense. The Lions had 20 yards rushing on 21 carries and the Cowboys had 36 yards on 20 attempts. Last week the Cowboys put up 103 and this week the Lions put up 115. Giving up 56 yards on 41 attempts is an absolute WALL!

We probably won't be able to run the ball with any effectiveness until we get a better offensive line. I'd go as far to say that we should draft O-line with our first 3 picks

Good win by the Bears. But they need to get a lot more from the ground game (total two game by Forte/Taylor: 40 carries for 114 yards) if they want to maintain.

Secondary made some plays today, but they still weren't in good position on many of the Cowboys passing plays and the two interceptions were by products of drops.

Run defense has been beyond excellent the first two games. No holes for anyone.

Happy the Bears got a win, definitely more nervous about Green Bay than Dallas because Green Bay actually has an offensive coordinator worth something.

Bears are the only team (though New Orleans can certainly get there tonight as well) with 7 guys with 5+ catches. Bears are spreading the ball around and will make for horrible fantasy decisions but make defenses never really have a good feel for the formations.

Fans wearing orange were all over the place. So I paid attention the rest of the game, and I swear, the Bears had 10,000 fans at the game. It was the most fans for an opponent at a Dallas game I have seen since the Steelers were at Texas Stadium.

Dude on the Sivly and Wddle show said it was more like 25,000.

Cliff Levingston is down with that.

Martz did one hell of a job adjusting to the pressure that was coming. It was clear the Cowboys weren't about to let Cutler get comfortable, so we just hit the hot routes a couple times over the middle before the rush could get there, and from there, the Cowboys weren't blitzing as hard. The O line settled in a bit and we displayed what our offense is capable of.

Give Jay a good offensive line though that can actually open some holes for the run game and this offense could be a doomsday machine.

Does anyone know why we wore our road jerseys at home and our home jerseys on the road? I'd much rather wear the navy at Soldier Field.

Don't know why they wore their road jerseys at home in week 1, but so did a lot of other teams (Jets, Patriots, Buccaneers, Texans, Saints and Titans.) They wore them in Dallas because Dallas almost always wears silver and white at home and since every other team has white road jerseys, the road team has to wear their home jersey when they play in Dallas.

Home gets to pick what uniforms to wear. So I imagine the Bears choose white to help them against the heat possibly.

Pretty sure they're wearing the retro jerseys on Monday. Heard they were for the Packers and Vikings games. Then again, I thought they were for the Lions game, too.
