The Hornets have signed Joe Alexander to a partially guaranteed contract, a league source tells Y! Sports.

only better place for Joe probably would have been Phoenix with Nash. Imagine the fastbreak with Nash, Richardson, Childress, Joe, Warrick. The dunks would never stop. He'll be a nice stop-gap for 8-10min a night when Ariza needs a break either way, if he even makes the team.

It's almost like they have a new Julian Wright (without the passing ability).

Wasn't really interested in him as a wolf right now anyways, so I'm glad he found a team.

He'll end up in the d-league wherever he goes.

He fits Kahn's profile of "longshot, under-performing lottery pick who we'd hope can turn it around with the timberwolves" but the only way that can happen is if you can find minutes for the guy. I doubt he'd ever hit anywhere, but it certainly wouldn't happen riding the bench for Minnesota.
