The guy was as efficient offensively as Gasol last year, I think it is simply the fact that people don't like the WAY he scores because he's not a guy that bangs down low that people get so caught up in. Look at this past season, we started a lot of games in the half court by going inside to Jermaine, this despite the fact Jermaine wasn't exactly scoring in bunches. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing with Bosh even with James and Wade.
I agree, but then again I'm a Raps fan. It's natural that he would get sorta overlooked in the context of Wade and Lebron.
He's probably a better pure shooter than either. He might be even more deadly in the midrange off the PnR. Offensively, I think he's one of the very few players in the league that is truly unguardable. Ultimately, there are a greater number of quality athletes on the perimeter, but Bosh gets to go up against post guys and no one has his quicks- he can make defenders look even more foolish. If you're going to try to defend him one-on-one, you're finished, he's either going to the line or scoring.
Another thing that may not get enough attention is the way that Lebron's size and strength at the three will complement his quickness game. Bosh will be a terrific release valve shooter in ways that I don't think Wade or Bron are capable of being. I think Bosh should be the high scorer on the Heat if they want to maximize him, as Bron/Wade can do more in other areas.
I think Heat fans are going to have to coin new terminology for what these guys are going to do on offense. I'm tempted to use the word "blitzkrieg", as these guys go the line at such a rate that opposing teams are going to literally become dysfunctional and break down in ways that are going to prompt the league to consider rule changes purely on their account. Teams are going to play zone and simply risk the open threes because otherwise they'll descend into chaos.
