this guy needs to be in Aaron Rodgers head all night long.

NFC North match up, somebodies O must go, i dont think that many people predicted we would beat the Cowboys in week 2 but we did. thanks to a pretty exciting offense and some hard nosed defense.

what do you guys think? 3-0??????

Wherever Clay Matthews is you need about six guys. Gotta give Cutler some time to find his targets against an injured Packers secondary. I really hope the Bears try and get away from their soft coverage in the secondary that allowed Dallas those 10-15 yard passes. You can't allow that against this offense. But you have to pressure Rodgers, too. Luckily the running game for the Packers is Bears-like right now.

The Packers are the more well-rounded team right now..but boy would a win here be great.

I think the Packers win. But I've been wrong the first two weeks, so who knows.

The Packers should win but if we played like we did yesterday, we have a very good chance at winning. Defense really needs to step up. The Packers absolutely demolished them twice last season.

Our defense was not demolished by the Packers last year. Our defense played great in the first game and if not for Payne & Vasher screwing up the coverage on one play, with under 3 minutes left, we probably win that game. We lost that one 21-15 and the second game 21-14.

I really think this game is ours if our run defense comes through like it did in weeks 1 & 2. Unfortunately the Pack is without their main RB - I'd really like to face them full strength. Nevertheless, if we shut down the run game, I like our chances. Hopefully Major Wright just got a tweek and won't miss much time if any.

The Packers have no running game as it is and one of the best passing games in the league. The Bears better be able to stop the run game, the Packers don't have one. The Bears better focus on Rodgers and the passing game or it'll be a long night.

I must be thinking of 2 years ago when we got blown out at home.

Well, a tough game is coming. GB is playing a good game and we always are in trouble against the Packers.

Maybe Cutler can continue where he left off(last game), also Hester!

Hopefully we are able to stop GB.

37-3 Blowout on the road. What a disgusting game that was. Orton game back too early from his high ankle sprain. truly pathetic effort. I still have the images of Lovie looking at the scoreboard with a look of....."Well.....that wasn't supposed to happen"

We did come back and win in OT at home (20-17) in that Icebowl.....but I digress. Your point is basically that when the Packers have needed to they have handed us our asses on a plate....point well taken

Packers fan here, this will likely be a close game. I think the primary key will be which team gets more pass rush. Packers are either going to be starting a gimpy Clifton or a rookie (Bulaga) at LT, and so far the overall protection of Rodgers has been inconsistent (not as bad as the start of last season, but not great).

Offensively, I doubt the Packers try to run the ball at all. Brandon Jackson is terrible and the Bears are only allowing 1.4 YPC so far against some good backs (Best, Barber, Jones). I expect us to pass 80%+ of downs, so the key will be the Bears pass rush on Rodgers, specifically Peppers. I don't think the Bears have the secondary personnel to cover the Packers weapons if he gets time, but that is the key question.

Should be fun.

Cliff Levingston is very encouraged after seeing the adjustment Martz made just totally fluster the Cowboys defense. The way our defense is playing, this game could be up for grabs... whereas coming into the season, Cliff Levingston would've predicted the Packers by 14, at least.

dj moore looks like hes coming up, big boost to the secondary from the nickel spot.

i wonder who is gonna be the one dropping into coverage on finley when they go with a 3 reciever set. bears have the personell to cover him imo.

i just dont wanna get torched by rodgers

No one can cover Finley one on one, though with the linebackers we have, we're better equipped to handle him than most teams.

It's all going to come down to which team puts the most pressure on the other's QB and which team can come up with some turnovers. Both teams won't be able to run the ball and both teams have QBs that'll murder you if you let them. We know our offensive line isn't that good but the Packers' isn't all that good either. Both defenses are pretty darn good and have a guy who can really get after the QB (Peppers/Matthews). It's a pretty even match up, thought Cliff Levingston likes the Packers' secondary and their weapons in the passing game more than what we've got, but at least we've got the home field advantage.

If they can contain the roided out of his mind Clay Matthews, they'll have a good shot at winning.

I honestly feared Ware more than I did Matthews. Just because Jay will actually be able to see Clay coming, as opposed to Ware who was coming from the blind side.

Two teams are relatively evenly matched. There should be fireworks

I have been leaning towards a Packer's win so far, but that could change if Clifton sits, and Bulaga starts.

Neither team can run the ball...neither team's secondary stop the other's passing game.

I think the game comes down to whoever has a better game: Julius Peppers or Clay Matthews.

If this is the case, the Packers should win. Peppers hasn't impressed me much in these first two games but maybe I'm not watching him enough. He did get a couple good hits on Matt Stafford in the first game but I didn't notice him much in the Cowboys game. Again, maybe he's doing things that I'm not noticing like being a factor stopping the run.

Like SportsWorld has written before .....Peppers hasn't impressed me, too! Hope he can change my mind against GB!

IMO....Cutler will be our man.....If he has a great game, we will win this.

You'd have to think the Packers will double Peppers (pretty much do what the Bears did in Dallas). Get a tight end or RB on the left side to help with Peppers. That's why the corpse of Tommie Harris needs to show up for more than three plays.

On the other side, I've got to envision that Manumaleuna will be assigned to help with wherever Matthews is. Omiyale will probably start at LT where he was pretty effective against the Cowboys.
