Maloof Sports & Entertainment and ARCO Statements Regarding Arena Naming Rights Partnership

SACRAMENTO, CA, September 20, 2010 -- Maloof Sports & Entertainment and ARCO today issued the following statements regarding their arena naming rights partnership which expires in February:

"We are deeply appreciative of the historic 24-year run we enjoyed with our friends at ARCO,” said Joe and Gavin Maloof. “This was one of the original, pioneering naming rights partnerships in major league sports and entertainment. Now there is an incredible opportunity for a new brand to integrate across all Maloof Sports & Entertainment platforms including nearly 200 events per year which welcome two million guests annually and frequently showcase the Sacramento region through national and international media.”

“This long term relationship has been mutually beneficial to the Sacramento Kings and ARCO,” said Kris Kaligian, ARCO Brand and Insights Manager. “We look forward to enjoying those benefits during the final season of our association with the Kings.”

Sounds like the naming rights will not be renewed in February...
