Read my mind...

This guy just looks like he's not even trying when he's pulling off these dunks. Reminds me a bit of J-Rich back when he was winning dunk contests, how he makes it looks so effortless.

The first guy is inhuman. The other videos are nice and all, but honestly, after watching the first one, they look like nothing.

What's his vert, 50 something? I swear his head is ABOVE the rim.

Yeah, I don't get why the other guys even bothered posting their vids.
Kenny Dobbs was executing some inconceivable dunks.

He might destroy any NBA dunker right now. He's pretty effortless. It really is a shame that the NBA dunk contest does not feature the best dunkers in the game. Little competitive spirit.

It's a toss up. James White does the long distance stuff better, taking off from the free throw line and such....but this dudes body control is completely unreal.

Dunking is the most ridiculously overrated "skill" in the game of basketball. In my experience, the only ones impressed by it are people who are casual fans who don't know the game very well or at all. Dunking is something any reasonably coordinated HS kid over six feet tall (and even quoite a few shorter than that) can do. The dunking contest at the All-Star game every year is a borefest.

It would be terrible for the NBA's image to see it's highest fliers lose to a player from another league in their own dunk competition. David Stern would never allow that possibility, for the same reason he wouldn't let the best three point shooters in Europe compete in our 3 point competition or the fastest And 1 PG compete in the skills competition. The NBA holds itself as the premier league in the world (true or not), and would never create a situation where players from competing leagues of entertainment could show it up at its own game.

still doesnt excite me anywhere near as much as a good game dunk. its pretty much like, snore, who cares, theres not 5 other guys out there trying to stop him from doing that so why should i give a rats?

the all star dunk contest was boring as bat guano this year. total snooze fest. the previous years have been pretty good though. iguodala did some good stuff, as well as dwight, nate, amare (and nash) and josh smith. the old days were good too, even looking back on them now. they need to keep the bigger name players in it to keep people watching. no one wants to watch rookies (unless they are actually entertaining) just like no one wants to watch no-name and1 youtube stars.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

+1

Remember the Foot Locker Dunk Contests they used to show during college games? They'd feature non-basketball players, like Mike Powell and Mike Conley Sr., and were a lot more entertaining than the 2010 NBA dunk contest.

James White is not an NBA dunker either.
