Every NBA team getting new uniforms for 2010-11 season

Post#1 » by tugs » Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:32 am

Lakers uni looking slick and cool, and light!

Image

Designed and developed by adidas, the uniforms are 30 percent lighter and dry twice as fast as previous NBA uniforms to help enhance player performance by keeping athletes cooler, drier and more comfortable on the court. All 30 NBA teams will wear the new uniforms beginning this season. [...]

The new uniforms, which are made from 60 percent recycled materials, feature adidas' Formotion technology, which reduces seams, decreases friction between the garment and the player's skin and optimizes the player's natural movement through specially constructed material. adidas reduced uniform weight and increased player comfort by switching front and back numbers from heavier, dense materials to breathable mesh. The new uniform absorbs moisture in less than three seconds as a result of adidas CLIMACOOL fabrics, which move heat and sweat away from the body through a combination of moisture management materials, ventilation channels, and three-dimensional garments, helping the uniform dry twice as fast.

there's something about those non-rubberized prints... maybe it's just me but it looks thick and heavy.

They look nice. I just never thought of a shirt as heavy. We all wear one every day and I never thought of someone saying. "Man My shirt is to heavy."...lol

I would love see the day where the Lakers have black and gold alternates maybe once a season? I think that will look dope. Liking the new jersey though

this is kind of embarassing but i bought a D-Rose jersey and the material is not good at all. the print is like cardboard sewn to the clothing.i bought it because it looked good and was cheap. :P

but yeah i won't be that guy to say, "Man, my shirt is too heavy." it's just "heavy".

I'm sure the players are excited, because they'll be cooler when playing...but I really think mesh jerseys look and feel cheap.

It's what we wear in rec leagues.

Look at the MLB...what is that stuff, wool? And they play outdoors in summer. All I mean is they look professional. These jerseys look like the cheap mesh versions we buy instead of the real thing.

You can see the numbers on players jerseys hang awkwardly when they bend over. I'd imagine that would be annoying.

They look sharper than usual. Would look good with the Staples' lights out theme.

I like em. A lot. I was going to buy a swingman jersey shortly, but I'll hold off for now. Good find OP.

I'm not crazy about them. I also wish they'd change their center court logo as well to the newer L. I noticed they were new from the bball demos lol.

Nooooo! We gotta keep the original Logo w the basketball, that's a classic. To me the
"L" lacks creativity and is kind of lame.

As for the unis, they are ok but I'm a Nike guy and think they design much cooler stuff than Adidas. I recall a cover of Hoops magazine with Kobe on the cover wearing a Nike black and yellow trim uni in 2000-01, it would look killer as alternate road jersey and would fly off shelves.

The New Jerseys look like crap

Post#19 » by So Gutta » Fri Oct 15, 2010 6:21 am

I'm not feeling these new jerseys.

THE DOUBLE DIGIT NUMBERS ARE TOO FAR APART ON THE FRONT!

Epic fail by Adidas.

I'm gonna try to contact Jeanie Buss about this.

Who's with me????

If you have the means to contact Jeanie Buss, I doubt theses are the matters in which you would discuss with her.
