Anthony Randolph

Post#1 » by Train7492 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 1:33 pm

If he could be had for a 1st would anybody be interested in him? The Knicks are going to be looking for a pick (if the rumors are true) so could this be our chance to pick him up, or is he to much of a risk with his injury problems? If it comes down to the Knicks needing a pick in 2011 or 12 to get the Melo deal done could we throw out a Rush, 1st 2012 for Randolph, 2014 1st or is that asking to much on our part? From what I have seen of Randolph he would be a great PF for us.

The Pacers need a TRUE power forward. Anthony Randolph is far from that. He's nearly 7 feet tall and weighs about 75 pounds. We need muscle on the block, not a guy who is in love with shooting jumpers.

My prediction is, the Pacers won't be making a move for Randolph.

With the recent 76er trade I bet Speights could be had for a protected first. Perhaps top 8 protected first in 2011, top 6 protected first in 2012. I think he'd work out better on the Pacers than Randolph.

Speights is interesting. I think I would take him over Randolph for now...

Interesting indeed, I think we share different opinions on this one.

If all it took to get Randolph was a top 5 or 6 protect 1st round pick I'd do it in a heart beat. The guy has potential out the roof, and if he is allowed to run up and down the floor in this system he could be great.
