Cleveland and Atlanta have agreed to a trade.

Cleveland Sends/Atlanta Receives
Cap Space (I am almost $21,000,000 under)

Atlanta Sends/Cleveland Receives:
Ryan Hollins $2,483,333

Edit: I love Hollins athletic and forceful style of play, he adds another dimension of toughness to my team.

Atlanta accepts.

We like Hollins as a big body, but he wasn't going to get any playing time behind Zaza and Z. In addition, we plan to sign both of our rookies and that would put us at 16 players, therefore we had to drop a guy.

Not sure where this goes, but I'll post it here:

In order to meet roster limits, Spurs will

-- Leave Jonas Valanciunas in Europe for a year
-- Sign Tyshawn Taylor to a two year contract
-- Release Lavoy Allen (58th pick in the draft, and I have no idea who he is, so if you do he's yours)

The Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trailblazers have agreed to 2 trades (S & T)

Lakers outgoing:

James Johnson $1,833,120
Mario Chalmers $3,670,000 (Starting salary with new deal)
Wayne Ellington $1,154,040

Total = $6,657,160

Portland outgoing:

Rasheed Wallace $6,790,640

Lakers outgoing:

Portion of a TPE ($5,050,680) from the Nazr Trade.

Portland outgoing:

Austin Daye $1,929,600

Why?
We didnt want to pay Chalmers any more money then he was currently making, so by doing this, we get to save even more money, and pick up Austin Daye who we are very high on. He can play the 3/4 effectively and read that the Pistons plan on playing him at the 2 sometime. We love this kids potential. Good dealing jc.

My depth chart is way too deep and I have needed a center for a while. Augustine would have left after next year because I simply don't need him as a backup, Meeks wasn't getting the playing time he deserved and Graham would have never cracked the rotation so I decided to combine my assets and fill a position of need. I have always liked Turiaf and even though he won't be a top starting center he will fit in well and provide some much-needed toughness on the block and some good interior defense. He is also pretty proficient at that 15 foot jump shot Byron Scott loves his centers to be able to hit.

the wizards were so top heavy on bigs, and i needed a point guard off the bench.adds alot of depth

New Orleans and Phoenix Suns have a 2-part trade to announce.

Part 1:

PG - Beno Udrih $6,925,400
PF - Reggie Evans $2,000,000
C - Jamaal Magliore $854,389
2013 1st

Total Outgoing = $9,779,789

for

PG - Greivis Vasquez - $1,160,000
PF - Drew Gooden - $6,226,200
C - Earl Barron - $3,300,000

Total Outgoing = $10,686,200

Part 2:

$4m TPE (Part of David West TPE - see trade 8 on my roster page)
2013 2nd

for

PG - Steve Blake - $4,000,000

Why for New Orleans? Well the deal isn't major, and I take on extra salary, but I get an upgraded (albeit overpaid) backup PF in Gooden, a better 3-point shooting PG in Steve Blake to backup Parker, and a decent prospect in Vasquez. Hopefully it works out - at the very least, I now feel comfortable my bench is one of the strongest in the league.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

PHX accepts, when I took control of PHX, I said I needed to lower salary, and this helps save tons of money. I do not lose a starter, add a solid backup PG (starter in real life) and add a 1st and 2nd (PHX had no picks for the next few years)

New York and Miami has a blockbuster to announce

New York Sends

Monta Ellis $11,000,000
Josh Smith $12,400,000

Miami Sends

Carmelo Anthony $18,006,005
Yi Jianlian $4,000,000

Totals :23.4M and 22.005M

New York has been looking for a star ever since we dealt Roy, and Carmelo is that star. He is the best offensive force in the league. When you matchup against Melo, its basically pick your poison. You don't come around these guys often, so when the opportunity rose, I had to take it.

We absolutely hate to part with Melo but we had a greater need to shore up our defense and add quality depth to our roster. We made sure to send Melo to a place he will be able to shine and we wish him the best.

Miami accepts and is pleased to welcome the DPOY runner up, J Smoove and the 6th leading scorer and perfect spark plug off our bench at the 1 and 2 spots, Monta Ellis.

Welcome to Miami guys!

^ and that is why melo would have never really ever signed with Miami, the GM obviously has absolutely no loyalty to his star players after dealing away Bosh and Wade.

The Clippers and Spurs have agreed to a deal

Clipps send
Eric Bledsoe $ 1,596,360
Hassen Whiteside $788,872
totals: $2,385,232

Spurs send
Domineque Jones $1,110,120
Quincey Pondexter $1,073,280
totals: 2,183,400

Clipps agree to balance out the roster more. With Collison running the show, there really was no need to keep Bledsoe around. Whiteside is also in a log jam and may not have gotten the minutes he needs to try and develop. I add 2 guys that I was really high on in the 2010 draft. Dom Jones is a solid defensive minded combo guard that can light it up, and Q gives me the young SF of the future I was looking to add!
