And what contracts are you going to send out to match the contracts coming back in, or do you expect the Hornets to just trade Chris Paul without dumping any salary?

$4,190,182- Gallo
$7,560,000- Felton
$2,911,231- Randolph

Those contracts aren't cutting it and barely equal Chris Paul's salary, and that's besides the talent for talent side of the deal.

Well, if Chris Paul said "I'm leaving, I'm doing you a solid and trade me," I think that deal would be one of the better ones offered, so don't laugh. Gallo is a good player, not a star, but good none-the-less. Randolph has potential to be great, Chandler wouldn't even be on the team by then, and Douglas, well, him I don't like, but either way, its a solid offer.

Eh Randolph is vastly overrated he gets routinely handled by smaller players and has the mental composure of a third grader. He's all flash and potential right now... A jack of all trades but a master of none if you will.

He's got time on his side so I understand where you're coming from JG but the guy strikes me as a player who will never get it. He wants to be an offensive force when he should concentrate on his defense. Sadly playing under Nellie and now 'Antoni will only make things worse...

I agree everything you said. I don't like how he plays right now, but he does have great potential. Will he touch that potential? Probably not.

Kidd was a top 3-5 favorite player of mine who I really wanted to see win a chip. He went from alltime favorite team starter to alltime hate company.

Kidd calls "BS" on reported dissing of NJ

Post#26 » by DBoys » Tue Sep 28, 2010 9:15 pm

In an exclusive interview at Mavs camp today ...

Mavs star Jason Kidd is responding with surprise and anger to a report that he is involved in advising Carmelo Anthony against moving to New Jersey.

“That’s bull-s***,’’ Kidd tells FOXSports and DallasBasketball.com. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I haven’t had any contact with ‘Melo on this situation or on anything else. I don’t even have his phone number of his email. Total bull-s***.’’

This report is pure BS, per Kidd. It's a big enough issue for Nets fans that I started a new thread to get it noticed. He angrily called the report mentioned in this thread "total bull-s***" at Mavs training camp. See the new thread for the link to the interview article.

That's what I'm talking about. I wonder who is really trying to sabotage the deal...

blah, blah, blah...make a move Denver...make up your mind Melo, "should I stay or should I go now", is now your theme song...

At one time you couldnt wait to wake up to read the sports page, check out some stories and (besides some of the bigger deals) you would read in the box score section of the sports page what NBA transactions went down for that day...maybe there was some speculation thrown in there on who might be headed where....but now, its a bunch of garbage...Now tweets are news worthy, everyone blogs and its difficult to separate the rumors from the real stories...Its like I'm reading Star's (NBA version) Magazine...you might as well make the National NBA Enquirer...because its gossip bull and the AP or some entitiy in the National Sports Media needs to step up and limit who is spewing this garbage and at least classify them as non sport news source...its absolutely out of control...

The Nuggets are just hoping some miracle trade offer arrives from some Eastern Conference team. In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if they got less than what they could have received from the Nets last month.
