It seems to me that, based on what I have been reading, Denver is asking for quite a bit in return for that oh-so-familiar phrase, a "one-year rental". We saw the same thing before Amare's final season with us and, when he left, were left with a still very gracious TPE when it could have very easliy been nothing.

In one proposed trade, Chandler would have gone to Houston in a multi-team deal involving the Rockets.
It kind of makes you wonder: What is Anthony's current trade value? What would it be with a signed extension?
