not to get ahead of ourselves but 8-0 going into week 10 vs Minnesota is not out of the question. Win next week and things get easier until after Buffalo

Cliff Levingston read that's it's totally based on his play and lazy preparation. With Toeaina out there playing his heart out and being pretty effective, we might relegate Tommie to the bench for awhile. There's literally nothing else we can do to try to get something out of him.

Sucks for Cliff Levingston; he has a $225 authentic Tommie jersey. No one will want that. I guess Cliff Levingston will just keep wearing it for laughs.

Tommie's done... I hate to say to say it but he will never be the same. keep him on the bench.

The Giants have looked really bad thus far. I think our D-Line finally gets to the QB and makes Eli's life miserable next week.

The Bears will probably be the favorite in all of those game that's for sure. I truly can't believe this team, did not expect them to do all this. Guess this is just going to be a crazy year in the NFL, who honestly had the Bears, Chiefs and Steelers as the last undefeated teams this year? Crazy.

very unfortunate to see Harris digress from where he was a couple years ago.

Yep. Pro bowler to getting benched for laziness in a very important game. Amazing how far he's fallen

Man we have really lucked into some great wins. Hopefully we can clean some things up and continue to win. This next draft is going to be critical to our success in the future. We have to get a T on either side of the ball and some secondary help.

The one thing I hate about winning is Lovie gaining job security.

What I feel is getting really overshadowed is that the Bears are 2-0 in the NFC North now. That's massive.

Possible, but there are some wild cards in there.

The Giants should give us a good game, because they'll essentially be fighting for their playoff lives and can't afford to keep dropping games this early in the season. NFC east hasn't been playing up to its hype

We should beat the Panthers with their rookie QB, and the Bills are the bills, but the Seahawks and Redskins have been playing decently and aren't a walk over.

I'd still give us the advantage over all of those teams though. If Favre keeps playing like his age is and his WR's aren't performing I'd give us the edge over Minnesota as well

He wasn't one of the best 45 players on the roster according to Lovie Smith. Sounds like he's done.

I think that we will drop 2 of those, but they are all winnable games.

I think we beat the Giants, lose two in a row to the Panthers(they aren't awful in my opinion and are due)/Seahawks, squeeze by the Redskins and embarrass the Bills (more so it would be enabling the Bills to keep embarrassing themselves.)

The Giants won't be step overs. Cliff Levingston is actually pretty worried about that game. The Giants still have a ton of talent and can rush the passer, and they'll be eager to stay out of a 1-3 hole. Meanwhile, we've got a short week coming off a huge win. This has let-down game written all over it.

The Panthers should be a cakewalk. With Clausen and their complete lack of receiving talent outside of Steve Smith combined with their porous pass defense and our stallar run defense thus far, we should take these guys to woodshed. We'll see though.

The Seahawks are a completely different team on the road than at home. Thankfully, we get them at home. The Redskins just lost the much improved Rams but they've looked pretty good thus far, beating the Cowboys and almost beating the Texans. Not an easy game here.

The Bills under Fitzpatrick will be a lot better than people give them credit for, but they still can't defend the run at all and have a terrible offensive line. Not that we shouldn't win, but it's sweet how we get a road game at a neutral site against a fairly bad team.

Cliff Levingston is predicting at least one loss in there, hopefully no more than 2. But if you told Cliff Levingston before the season that the Bears could be 7-1 after 8, he would've laughed... very hard.

I don't think we lose to the Panthers.

The Panthers are gonna have some problems with that rookie QB. Bears defense is going to torture him with hidden coverages, and hidden blitzes. Clausen has shown to be pretty mistake prone so far.

@ Giants Loss
@ Panthers Win
vs Seahawks Win/Loss
vs Redskins Win/Loss
Bye
@ Bills Win

That's how I see it. I think we'll lose to either the Seahawks or Redskins at home and win the other game so we'll be 6-2 through 9 weeks. Tremendous.

The Giants game will be a loss. They are coming off 2 bad losses, and Coughlin is now on the hot seat. They will respond in a big way at home on national television. Manning has been pretty turnover prone, but I think they will get the win.

I agree with the 6-2 or 7-1 record. They will need that record, as they have a brutal 2nd half schedule.

It really depends on how we play. Surprisingly enough, we should win that game, though the Giants will be pumped up. Their offensive line is surprisingly sieve-like just two years after being dominant and their pass rush isn't what it used to be. Still, they've got a lot of talent and could easily pick up a win if we don't bring our A game.

The second half schedule isn't looking as daunting as it once was. This team already looks good offensively while continuing to adjust to Martz' offense. The Vikings definitely are not the same team they were last year so both those games will be winnable. One of our road games is against a fairly soft opponent (Lions). Then, arguably 3 out of 4 hardest 2nd half opponents we have in the second half we get at home (Jets, Patriots, Eagles).

There's a really good shot at 10+ wins here.

I really hope we go in there and stomp the Giants on Sunday night.

Could be a big statement
