The Kings don't have to be great this season. They don't even have to be good this season. They're too young and the roster too ill-defined for reasonable minds to expect anything more than a slight improvement over last year's 25-win campaign.

But, please, entertain.

Give us a reason to roll out of bed in the morning. Make life around creaky old Arco Arena interesting again. Make us curious. Make us laugh. Mostly, make us watch.

Bring the debate to the water cooler or pub nearest you: With training camp getting under way today, is Geoff Petrie back on his game or on his last legs? Who will be the first player tagged with a technical under the league's new rules regarding whiners and gripers – Jason Thompson or DeMarcus Cousins?

You don't really strike me as the sort of guy who'd read the newspaper, next time you should check and see where the link was taking you. Also as Wolfay said the piece was writen by Voisin which you should know, presuming you don't already, most Kings fans hate.

Well in fairness to him he wouldn't know it was a boring article until he read it, but at the same time he probably shouldn't be reading the paper.

The article is a bit of a waste of time, it tells you things you should pretty much know already. I don't dislike Voisin nearly as much as most but this sentence more than any other was WTF worthy.

Should the Hornets decide to trade All-Star Chris Paul, the Kings would be very, very, very intrigued

Can we all give a collective "No S Sherlock". I can't imagine there's a team on the planet that wouldn't be "very, very, very, intrigued."

This piece has a certain "I gotta get something printed quick" quality about it. It's all just rehash of what we already know.

Interesting, had no idea we were pursuing Darren Collison. I didn't read any rumors about it, it would of been awesome to have him now, but I guess we didn't offer enough I'm taking it.
