I'm based in London and have heard from some pretty good sources that representatives of the Sox were over in the UK recently and have been snooping around Liverpool Football Club.
I guess i'm just pretty interested in their reputation in the States.
Between them I guess they have something like $1.5bn in money they could feasibly use.
From basic research I see that Luchinno has been involved now with three teams that have built new stadia - massively important for Liverpool.
They have clearly changed Fenway quite a lot in their seven years or whatever.
Would this be a good thing for Liverpool?

As far as baseball, yes, it is a good ownership group.
Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

The problem with this is, even though the RED SOX owners may actually be good for the team.
American owners have a bad stigma in the EPL, so i am not sure how it would go with the fans.

It has all gone quiet over here so potentially the numbers didn't make sense. Would have been interesting to see if they could work some synergies between the two sports. The strong irish connection would have been useful I'm sure.
Cheers for your thoughts

I thought my sources were right but there is definitely some brinkmanship involved as there aren't many days left until the deadline when RBS takes over. Unsurprisingly Hicks and shaverman are hanging on and opposing it.
