He made an impact to his two troubled teammates, the first man to contact both Rush and Stephenson wasn't management after the incidents, it was Granger.

That was a good move by Danny. Management may not have wanted to seem "soft" on off court issues, so the teams best player reaching out is a good way to make players feel like they are still wanted.

On a side note I think (and hope) that the Worlds experience and being able to learn and play from some really good players and leaders(Billups, Odom etc) will help Granger's game alot.

So who's gonna be cut or traded? It said we signed Magnum to a two year deal. Burrd and Morway probly looking for a trade.

I think Well hinted to it. They are pushing a Ford/D. Jones combo in return for something, whether it be a PF or a higher quality guard, IDK.

Hope it ain't Diaw. I could live with it, but I'd rather get an expiring and a 2nd tho.

Yeah but Diaw wouldn't be a bad choice though. He's got the versatility, ball skills, smarts, etc. that can fit really well in O'Brien's offense.

^^^ I don't necessarily feel should rush into a PF trade. The best thing Larry Bird did with the PG situation is not pull the trigger solely for the sake of pulling the trigger. He waited patiently and managed to land Collison instead of an iffy-at-best D.J. Augustin.

Diaw would be fine but is undersized for the PF position. He's obviously proven he can play bigger than that, but I know a lot of people are interested in guys like Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, and Al Horford and I'm with them.

Getting players that fit his system, kinda means he will be here longer. I thought we wanted to go the other way, away from O'Brien's system, away from O'Brien.

Good to see Granger showing some leadership off the court. Hope he can show that on the court in the coming season. :D

For the higher quality guard, Crawford and Terry may be the choice.

I see no signs that Bird wants that although lots of fans seem to. I was encouraged by the quotes from O'B in the Star. I like coach as a person and hope that he shows some flexibility this year and changes the offense as necessary to best utilize the talents of Collison, Hansbrough, Hibbert, and McRoberts.

I didn't read that article - but did he make mention of Collisons ability to run the pick and roll/pop and how he'd implement that into his current ball movement system?

Headless Chicken Motion Offense has thus far not resulted in many passes to the pick setter. Maybe it's because our previous PG's haven't had the vision.

In one of the videos, Dunleavy described it the same way. When it works, it's hard to defend. When it doesn't, it really is like a lot of running around to no end.
