Per Jason Wilde.......Wilde was surprised that McCarthy came right out and said that move was being made.

I know you have a huge anti Brad Jones agenda but you forgot to mention the last part of what McCarthy said "until Brad Jones can show that he can stay healthy"

Wilde didn't say that part...you are right I realize Jones sucks, so not a real fan.

Jones and Zombo are very equal in terms of ability. You just love to get on an agenda against certain players and blindly ignore reason(Jones, Shields).

First off..I don't agree with you on much and don't care for the BS you pitch......I don't think Shields can be a nickel on a Superbowl team at this point, I think any good playoff QB will carve him up....I like Shields and think that an undrafted FA should be given time to develop, I don't think he is good enough right now. As far as Jones goes, I don't see anything special at all, just a guy and a guy who can't stay healthy, not a playmaker and average on his best day, which has yet to be seen this year...can't make it any more clear than that Chucky.

I actually agree they are equal in terms of ability and would love to have a better player, but early on Zombo seems to have a knack to make plays and just seems to have a much better motor

I disagree with you a lot on Shields, he has shown quite a bit for an undrafted rookie who only played corner for one year in college. I agree that Jones is average, I don't think its fair to say he can't stay healthy considering he was healthy all of last year it is only at the start of this year that he has had some nagging injury which happens to so many football players on a yearly basis. I just find it funny that you hate Jones so much and are overjoyed about Zombo starting when they are pretty much the same player and will have similar impact.

As for shields being the starting corner on a Super Bowl team... you only have to go back to last year to see New Orleans had guys off the street starting at CB, or the Giants team when they beat the Patriots. Your nickel corner doesn't have to be anything special and he has held his own so far.

There is no BS I'm pitching, I'm calling it like I see it, you blindly hate on people and time and time again ignore facts, stats and data that show the opposite just to try and "prove" your own agenda.

I think Shields will be good in the long run but he's not good now. A Super Bowl team needs a better nickel back. And they need a better OLB opposite Clay than another raw undrafted rookie.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I don't hate anyone....well you are pushing me.....time will tell on Shields, I maintain a good QB, especially playoff caliber would isolate him and destroy him....the second half of the Philly game when Vick played, they had him spun in circles at least twice and he gave up big plays in the Bears game...I think Shields has potential but I think this is a Superbowl type team and I want someone I can count on, hopefully that will be Harris. The Saints lost guys during the season, startes, and picked up vets during the season....the playoffs and Superbowl they had there starters back...i know you like to be accurate.

Again to be accurate, Jones missed the majority of the preseason his first year as well, he needed a big last game to even make the team and this is where you absolutely suck....when have I ever been overjoyed about Zombo?? I just think he is the lesser of 2 evils, I wanted a quality vet to play that position not an undrafted FA, I can't be more clear on my feelings on starting undrafted FA's. Speaking of agendas, it is so sad you come off as a blind homer...everyone is great, all is well and I am just calling it like I see it.

I'm fine with this. Jones looks the part but I just haven't seen much from him besides a couple of solid games last season. He just seems to be the epitome of average to me. While Zombo and Jones are pretty much equals at this point, Zombo shows a motor and aggressiveness that Jones lacks, imo, and you need that in this defense.
F*** Marc Davis, f*** Tim Donaghy and f*** David Stern as a staff, record label and as a mothaf**kin crew......and if you wanna be down with Stern then F*** YOU TOO!!! Stu Jackson f*** you too.....all you mothaf**kas F*** YOU TOO!!!!

I like this move, but I hope they rotate guys in with him. He wore down in the second half on Monday night. His conditioning isn't where it needs to be, IMO, but I love his motor and he has a knack for getting after the QB.

Can you please tell me about Randall Gay and why he's better than Sam Shields? You might want to look up his career path.

Magic fan checking in, holy **** Harris is legit. Your GM should be fired.

I know all about Randall Gay. If Shields gets to his level during his rookie season, great. He has a LONG way to go.

Julius Peppers would look pretty good in that spot right now.
