Yeah thanks to everyone who makes this forum what it is all season long. You guys are great and I learn more and more about the game everyday just reading what others have to say.

I hope next season that we will start to see a few people joining RealGM solely for the Jays forum.

While it's a far cry from the traffic of the Raptors forum, this forum has quality in spades. The Raptors forum is full of bumbling idiots. The mean age of people on this forum must be at least two or three-fold that of the Raptors forum, and it shows.

The users here give great and intelligent insight, are rational, and clearly have been following the game for at least a full decade. So I too would like to echo Ozzy's sentiments, and thank everyone who contributes to making this a quality stop to talk Jays baseball.

Shaun Hill has looked pretty good since he came up. So assuming we have Marcum, Romero, Cecil, and Morrow with spots locked up.

This means we probably have Hill, Drabek, Stewart, Rziep battling for a fifth spot. I suppose Litsch is there as well.

If Drabek doesn't make it he goes to the minors for sure. I know some people want to make Stewart into a closer, but he looked pretty good as a starter this year. So who makes it, who goes to the bullpen and who gets traded?

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

We could use them to fill out our bullpen, which is going to be left with gaping holes after this offseason's flight of our best. A guy like Litsch is an obvious candidate for a job like long relief, he could help dampen the blow of losing a guy like Tallet. I like Zip, and it seems he is finally putting it together, but the talent of Drabek must win out - I make Drabek the 5th starter, send Zip back to minors until there is a need for him in the rotation (the jays rotation has been remarkably healthy this year - I don't ever remember us having so few injuries in the rotation *knock on wood*). As for Mills, Hill, Purcey, etc... Looks like it's going to be bullpen work or minors for them.

if i had to guess at next years bullpen i would say something like this

LeftLong- Mills
RightLong-Jansen
LeftMid-Carlson
RightMid- Camp
LeftSetup-Purcey
RightSetup-????
Closer-Gregg

not bad actually if Carlson can remember how to pitch and Mills makes a good transition.

Heh, really? I can't stand it. Too high and too far.
