how often do you guys play sports with friends?

Working 40 Hours a week and Paying a Mortgage make its really hard to play sports with "friends"

Damn, thinking about it I haven't hit the courts in over 8 Months..

I play catch weekly though..

If Lebron, Wade & Bosh were coached by Phil Jackson would their Triangle Offense be IMPOSSIBLE to stop? Could that offense with their talent average 110+ pts/gm?

been at least 2 years since I touched a basketball. last time I played was in a company rec league. haven't played with non-work friends in almost 10 years lol. life happens.

I shoot hoops almost every day. I try to play with my friends as much as possible, even though it's hard to coordinate. I prefer 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 because of the strategy, but I'm game for 1-on-1 every now and then, especially since it helps me work on my man-to-man defense and develop good countermoves.

I'm usually not one for pickup games with strangers, though, since I've had too many incidents. I prefer playing with people who value teammwork, communication, etc. over being a flashy ballhog.

Random Thought..

I think they'll average close to that this year without a triangle offense!

With my current work schudule, I try to get in atleast a few hours a week of basketball. During the summer I played every Sunday but that has changed, with time. Now I'm looking for a new day but work doesn't really give me much time to play. I prefer 5-5 but it seems like its hard to find those games now. Every time I try to find a pickup game, I leave early. Like Andre said, I prefer team work and communication over flashy ballers(I used to be that way but with time, I love the team game now).

I ball at my gym with a bunch of ex highschool players who range from ages 21-50. Mondays, tues, thurs, and weekend mornings..... my only way of getting cardio and enjoying it..... screw jogging

But I have a legit question..... im looking to buy tickets to the last preseason game. do u guys think our starters will play or will it just be an opp for spo to see what our back ups got?

Ok I know its just training camp but I just watched the Miami heats real training camp on
NBATV and I was not impressed one bit, they are super athletic but after that not much at all..
I think if we had a series we would beat them they just have a bad flow... they remind me of like a big
bad home run hitter that either hits it out the park or strikes out, no base hits no mid game

anyone else catch that? whats your thoughts?

I think that the general board is gunna change to the extremities either good/bad depending on who wins between boston Heat on Oct 26th

If we lose everyone will talk hard but if we win it's gunna be more quiet than ever lol
