Can someone please explain to me what happens to the players that we pick up through the "waiver wire?" thought once the draft is complete, your roster is complete too?

Always wanted to go to NZ one day. It has beautiful scenery and the people seem nice too. Theres also a large Korean population there too, which suits me pretty well aswell.

When a player gets dropped by another team, he goes on the waivers list for a couple days, then becomes a free agent if nobody tried picking him up while he was on the waivers list.
If several managers are trying to pck up the same player from waivers, whoever has the higher waiver priority gets the player from waivers, then that manager goes to the bottom of the priority list.

For now, all available players not drafted are on waivers and will become free agents in a couple days.
After October 3rd, all free agents can be picked up without blowing a waiver pick.

Nah that quake was about 500km away so didn't feel it, but there's literally been 100s of aftershocks and we've felt a couple of them. I'm on the 5th floor in our office - feel EVERY little shake. Fault line is RIGHT through NZ from top to bottom, so any shake anywhere in the North Island and you usually feel it...
I'm a bit North of Wellington, the quake was right about where it says 'Pacific Plate'
And that concludes today's geography lesson.

Ahh okay. Apparently it measured quite highly on the richter scale. Lucky not too many people were injured/killed.
