Most tradable?
Which current player are you most interested in or comfortable with trading?
Would like to limit this to the guys that are basically guaranteed to make the team, list below
realize that some of these are easy no's, but just trying to limit the list to definite rostered players
Tyreke Evans
Beno Udrih
Francisco Garcia
Omri Casspi
Donte Greene
Sam Dalembert
DeMarcus Cousins
Hassan Whiteside
Carl Landry
Jason Thompson
Limiting it to these players because I don't think any of the others guaranteed roster spots, with the likely exception of A. Wright

Re: Most tradable?
Donte Greene or Garcia to free up time for the wing players basically for Casspi
Dalembert cuz he could leave to a better situation next year
Carl Landry cuts into Jason's development/playing time

Re: Most tradable?
None until I see them play together. Clearly there is going to have to be some type of movement with the frontcourt and wing position. I'm still with whoever looks best next to Evans/Cousins can stay.

Re: Most tradable?
Im not comfortable trading any one of those players. The moves have been made, the offseason is OVER! Let the roster play ball, re evaluate what we got and go from there

Re: Most tradable?
The only player im seriously thinking about moving is landry.
I like the idea of thompson starting at pf, with greene picking up some back up pf minutes and giving casspi the starting sf spot. The goal for me would be to bring in a longterm guard that is a good fit with evans.

I agree with those who said nobody at this time. I too want to see what this team can do this year and we can make further evaluation after the all-star break perhaps.

Re: Most tradable?
Let's trade away Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins.
No I kid, I'm gonna have to agree with evans is king and SacKingZZZ on this one. I don't feel it would be necessary to trade any one on our team at this point. Not until we see how they flow/mesh together at least.
But then again.. It depends on how good this "trade" is.

Re: Most tradable?
Francisco Garcia is the only player on the roster I could see the Kings trading right now. Everyone else has a foreseeable role.

Casspi? Really? I see him as one of the more untouchable players on this team.
I still see one or maybe two of Landry, Dally, or Thompson being moved this year.

Re: Most tradable?
^^My reasoning with Casspi is that he is a young talent that would be attractive to other teams and (IMO) is less versatile than Greene. He would be a good piece in a deal to help improve the team long-term. I'm not saying he needs to be moved or even shopped. I'm not saying that about anyone on my list. What I am saying is that he would someone I would consider moving in the right deal.

Oh, I can see that, but in that case I'd say everyone not named Evans or Cousins is on that list.

Re: Most tradable?
I hate that so many people are interested in seeing Landry and Dalembert leave.
Nobody on our team has proven they can score consistently besides Evans and Landry, period. We traded our leading scorer in Kevin Martin for Landry, and whenever you go to the trade forum, even Kings fans are trying to pawn him off for garbage or players who can't score. Teams need scorers, so Landry isn't going anywhere. He said he's happy here and there is no indication that he won't re-sign. We also have the money to afford him.
As far as Dalembert, I bet the same people who complain about our interior defense are the same people saying we should trade him for garbage too. We got him because we need what he brings, and what he brings, nobody on our team has proven they can bring too.
Also we JUST got him, told him he was wanted, and told him we've been pursuing him for a couple of years. People who want to trade him before the season starts are ignoring the human side to business transactions. It would be cold-blooded to move him now and would hurt the reputation of Kings management with not only the Kings' own players but players around the league. He's in training camp with the team right now and bonding with his teammates for Christ's sake.
Petrie has class. When we traded for Larry Hughes, we told him not even to report because he wasn't in our plans. Like people have said, IF we trade Dalembert it's because a few months of games has shown that he doesn't help the team, and that won't be until the deadline.

Re: Most tradable?
I too want to keep Carl, but at a reasonable price of course. If he wants more than we are willing to give, then it's not worth keeping him, and he needs to get moved to the bench and be our Dejuan Blair/Leon Powe/Big Baby Davis type of player where we can succeed down the road when we are back in the playoffs.

Re: Most tradable?
My most tradable is ARCO ARENA for any new ARENA / area that will get us a new ARENA to keep the KINGS in SACTOWN !
After that CISCO is easily the most expendable by far & its not even close ! 4 years remaining a guy who is now easily injury prone the last 2 seasons I would like to see the KINGS shed his roughly 22 million off the books !

Re: Most tradable?
To be honest i think we added dalembert because petrie didnt really believe that cousins would be there when we picked, and that we would end up with someone like monroe.
Fact is we got cousins and that means that dalembert is on a ticking clock.
As for landry he siml has a height problem, and a lot of his stregnths overlap with cousins meaning they wont be a great fit on the court together . So i prefer thompson to stick around.

Re: Most tradable?
They added Dalembert for a few different reasons. One, they got out of Nocioni's contract and two, they really like Dalembert. Word was pretty strong that they were going to take the best big available anyway so I don't think that had too much bearing on the deal itself. Now I'm sure they didn't expect to get Hassan also, but they are really high on Dalembert and have been for a long time.

I'm a Mavs fan, but I like what Sacramento is building right now. I think Thompson, Evans, and Casspi are keepers. I would only consider dealing those guys for a marquee player like Melo, but they are solid building blocks for the future. However, the Kings need to get kind of lucky by landing a franchise turning prospect from the draft lottery or a great free agent.

So Tyreke isn't a franchise turning prospect?

Re: Most tradable?
Yeah, I think we kind of have a really good start in Evans and Cousins. I would say the Kings got pretty lucky with BOTH.
