ESPN/NBATV is getting ridiculous.

Post#1 » by KingLakers » Sat Oct 2, 2010 7:06 am

Im not a hater of the Heat but the ridiculous media coverage is really getting annoying. ESPN posted an entire article about the Heats first scrimmage and just a minute ago on SC they did a highlight package its justa scrimmage people its not even a preseason game. And while I was watching the highlight package on SC it seemed like NBA TV had play by play guys for the scrimmage now thats just stupid.

Who cares, we been watching them ride Lebron's sack for years while he was in Cleveland. My only concern is seeing coverage of another Laker parade on ESPN next year.

Being a Kings and Heat fan basically means that ur a Laker hater. U were probably a Celtics fan last year and a Spurs fan before that. U jump on the bandwagon of team that has the best chance to beat the Lakers from yr to yr.

I think we are seeing what other cities with NBA teams see what the media does with the Lakers.

laduane1 ESPN never had entire segments with sets at any Lakers training camp and have a highlights package for a scrimmage. Usually Lakers media day got attention but you wouldn't hear much about the Lakers until the season started. Whats going on with the Heat has never happend before.

BINGO! big market cities with big names = insanely over the top coverage.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their
shoes. That way, you'll be a mile from them, and
you'll have their shoes.

ESPN, yeah. I found their Heat coverage trite and superficial (no useful information, just "Lebron has the look!")

NBAtv, no. They had Real Training Camp segments for the Lakers and the Knicks as well last week, and had commentators for both.

Oh ok guess I was wrong about the play by play guys for the scrimmage.

But we won back to back titles and we barely get any coverage I mean where's the respect for the Lake Show

I like how all the attention is on the Heat. Let everyone else talk about Miami.
We'll do our thing and go into the season as the underdog, even though we're
the defending 2-time champs. Sometimes it's good to be out of the spotlight.

Don't you see this is perfect? Last year our team was too complacent, too cocky. And now that we finally got revenge on the team that put the fire in us, we have a new foe who is now hyped up as potentially one of the greatest teams ever (with all the +72 wins talk).

This is the perfect trilogy.
