Cool LOL! Nah those two kids are actually Marc Gasol and Adria Gasol at a Grizzlies game back in the day.
Sorry I didn't want to hijack this thread with the Gasol boys... Maybe I should start another thread.

Adria is the next Gasol. But it appears he is more interested in track and field right now. Although he has been spotted at several Laker practices last year and he has been seen playing pick up ball with local kids in Memphis, there are no reports that he is taking basketball seriously. But one can only hope.

Injury proneness? Bynum's knees were perfectly fine until Kobe and Lamar barelled
into him during the Memphis games.

There's a good chance Drew would of killed in the NCAA.
(See Greg Oden)

His stock could have easily blew up to a top 5 pick in the NBA draft,
meaning he would of not been a Laker.

The Lakers drafted him at number 10 in the first round and that was the lowest draft pick we had in forever.

We wouldn't be Back to Back Champions today without Drew.

Yes he is injured prone but his services on the court is what puts us over the top.

The Lakers need to rest him up as long as he needs.
End of the November might be too early still in my mind.

Fu*# the Regular Season.
The Playoffs is all that matters. (Last season as proof)

I <3 Fran Vasquez, Sean May or Antoine Wright, teams without Kobe and then maybe we'd have gotten Bargani or even better just drafted Ammo outright!

Momma and Papa Gasol are going to retire filthy rich. They're genes are like money trees.

bynum is one of those players who made the right decision of jumping to the NBA from high school.
its upto him to stay focused and healthy.

Bynum would have played atleast 2 years in college. I don't think too many teams would have taken a gamble in the first round on him after the Sean May debacle.

He'd be a top 10 pick if he played in college. He was big, athletic and had soft hands, that's pretty much enough to get drafted into the NBA.

Re: All the Oden comparisons, the guy is a tragedy in the NBA but he averaged close to 20/10 in NCAA championships while leading his team to the finals with a fractured right hand. He deserved to be picked where he was.

I believe if he would have gone to college for four years he would be the number 1 pick just because of his size.

I would think he would have a better leadership role and be the focus match up during March Madness and he would be more of the 'Man' in the NBA. Right now it he seem to be too relax. He gotten his money and the NBA is just a job. He doesn't care if he'll win another championship, just get another big contract.

He probably would have gotten injured in college and not been drafted.

2 Years in College would have put him in the 2007 NBA draft. Oden vs Bynum could have all started in college. Would have been a great way to start a possible rivalry with a fellow talented Center.

If Bynum went to college, he would have probably never have gotten teachings from the Captain, so who knows how his game and footwork would be.
