Re: Bulls Rebounding
We will be good. One thing the numbers don't show is that finally we have a rock down low to prevent big teams from pushing us around and getting offensive rebounds (see the Celtics series two years ago after which everyone wanted Blair).

Noah - Excellent rebounder
Boozer - Excellent rebounder
Deng - good rebounder
Rose - ok rebounder
SG - Brewer/Korver/Bogans - ok at rebounding.
Don't forget about the bench. The Bulls will have players that are good at rebounding on the floor at all times. Taj and KT are already good at rebounding and Asik should be as well. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Bulls were #1 in rebounding next year.

I wasn't gonna go that far, but it looks like you are right. According to yahoo sports the Bulls had the highest rebounding average in the NBA with 44.6 per game, right ahead of the Lakers who had 44.3. The year before they were 10th in the league. Last season was really a break out year for Noah in rebounding. With the addition of Boozer and good players on the bench that can rebound the Bulls should be able to average at least 45 rebounds per game.

Re: Bulls Rebounding
Rebounding average doesn't mean much. Some teams play a style that generates more rebounding opportunities for both teams. As was already mentioned, it's rebounding differential that matters.
Chicago was 9th in the league in rebounding differential last year at plus 1.9. This year they should be better than that, maybe much better.
Cleveland was the best last season at +4.0. They've obviously fallen apart. Memphis was second at +3.8. Third through eighth were all good teams. Orlando was fourth. Boston was very weak at a -1.5, which led them to fire Clifford Ray and hire as many O'Neals as they could find. The Lakers were eighth, just ahead of the Bulls.
Four weak teams were very bad, led by Golden State at an almost unbelievable -9.7! That should be remedied somewhat by a new coach and David Lee.

Actually, Derrick Rose isn't a very good rebounder at all considering his physical talents. If he picks it up than the Bulls will be the best rebounding team by a good margin.

I don't fully understand how rebounding differential is the best measure of a teams rebounding ability. Teams with higher scoring efficiency generate less rebounds for the opposing teams. On average for every 3 defensive rebounds a team gets they will also get 1 offensive rebound. If a team like the Cavs or the Thunder are shooting at a higher percentage there will be less defensive rebounds for the opposing team to get - and on average about 75% of a teams rebounds are on defense.
Using rebounding differential puts the Cavs, Grizzlies, Jazz, Thunder, and Blazers all ahead of the Bulls. I don't consider any of these teams to be better at rebounding than the Bulls, I would attribute the higher rebounding differential for these teams to a higher scoring efficiency and not better rebounding skills.
