What do you think? Chris Paul still getting more love than Deron even after last year. Millsap should have a higher rating. He keeps adding dimension to his game but it never reflects in these games. Also don't know how they decided that Bell is going to start over Miles. Oh well.

Im excited for the game but pretty bummed out that the court in the game won"t match the actual court, unless the screens from NBA 2k were from a earlier build.

Wow, Deron is a 92 and durant is a 91? I'm a major DWill homer, but that is ridiculous. Durant should be a 97 just like the miami flamers.

Millsap and AJ both rated too low, 95 for CP3 is a complete joke considering his season last year. I wonder how they come up with some of these ratings. Seems like more of a popularity thing than any actual researched ratings.

I really don't care anyway, I haven't played a basketball videogame for many years.

CP3 over DWill is laughable after last season. Sap and AK got no love either. Kinda pissed the court in the game is gonna be two toned, unlike the official.

Regardless, I'll be at the mall bright and early to buy this. So excited.

One too low rating I noticed was Joakim Noah.

Carl Landry, Oden, and Blake Griffin are all apparently better than Sap and AK.

I find it hilarious that AK and Millsap are both rated lower than Artest.

Probably a typo. Surely it should read 96.

The ratings on these games are garbage. It basically works the same way as the BCS. Media bias and fan marketability are behind the formula more than on the court results and stats. Like HammerDunk said, I dont play these anymore but I am never surprised at how certain players get the shaft on these ratings while others can be injured all season and never see the court but get rated highly in this game.

The overall ratings are skewed to offensive players and outside shooting. The actual game play gives players like Noah a proper level ability.

I've been playin it for a few hours. I LOVE how you can match up 96' 97 Jazz against 96 97 Bulls. I almost teared up settin up the pick n roll with Stockton/Malone.

2K11 seems to be A LOT harder gameplay wise than 2k10 but I think it comes from the gameplay being more realistic than anything. You can't just throw a pass anywhere you want now, the CPU is constantly in the passing lanes, picking passes off. It's gonna take a while to get used to, but theres so many subtleties than ring true to real life, it gives me chills.

So yeah, it's pretty bad ass.

These guys really screwed the Jazz up

Millsap is a 74
CJ is like 54, 10 points worse than Hayward and about as good as Fesenko.
Fes is about 10 points worse than Koufos.
Jeremy Evans has an average athletic rating.
Deron suddenly shoots the 3 worse than Chris Paul.

These guys don't do their research. I'm happy you can edit all the players, but still.

I found the gameplay to be really frustrating. The button for crossover doesn't even work, tons of turnovers, almost impossible to make a couple passes or drive the lane without turning it over. I'm hoping that with time I'll get used to it and like it better, which is probably the case. It's just harder.

I'm on 360
The only REAL legitimate rating complaint I have is CJ's. This is the second year in a row he's gotten jobbed by 2k. 54 is a slap in the face.

Like I said, I think the heightened difficulty of the game is more of a tribute to it's realism than anything else. You can mess with the sliders if you don't like it, but this is about as true-to-life simulation in a video game as your going to find anywhere.

I always go through and change the ratings on everyone when I first get the game. They rarely ever get any of the players ratings right... it's just a pain to go edit 100+ players individually...

Ben Wallace has a higher score than Noah? LOL

Also how can there be like 7 players with a higher score than Dwight? Duncan is better than Dwight?
