Not the qb threat from the end that is needed. Need a deep in the backfield speed rusher.

see, that is the myth. We do need a good QB rusher, but in reality the way our roster is set up we need a LDE more. Merling can be that LDE. RObison-edwards are RDE. Personally, I think Merling's high motor makes him a very good pick at that spot.

I'd rather reach for Merling or Campbell than take a DB, Safety, or WR. If one of the OTs falls, I'd be O.K. with that. I'm still holding out hope they trade up for Harvey.

YES! Merling is the answer at 17 ......... For the CHIEFS! They'll have to replace Allen!
