game against Bari to start off the season...
Amauri is out for a month now and Iaquinta is still out for another couple weeks so Quagliarella is gonna be tossed into the starting lineup with Del Piero. Krasic will be available on the bench but Aquilani wasn't called for this game

1-0 loss to Bari and Juve looked crappy in their first game. all these late transfers are ruining the chemistry that they have been working on.

edit: Borriello did not want to come to Juve on loan, so milan gave him to roma.

All I know is: Krasic, Aquilani, Quagliarella, Motta, Pepe, Lanzafame > 3 years of Secco's signings

Krasic with a hat-trick, nice!!!

Plus, after watching yesterday Real Madrid's game, man, I was so sad and mad that Juve weren't able to sign Xabi Alonso.

Yes, he would have been our solution. Since we spent his money to crap like Almiron/Tiago/Poulsen/Sisokko(With Momo being the best out of the 4), he would have been cheap too.

This year we started to make transfers that made sense. This is definitely not our year, so we should just enjoy every possible moment of it.

Yes, Juve are in some sort of rebuilding mode, but I agree, this season there were transfers made (both in and out) that could set the tone for the next 5 years or so.

What changes would you like to happen in this rebuilding mode?

How's Acquilani playing now and is he going to make the move permanent?

I was very surprised Hodgson sold him with the kind of crap he has in Liverpool's midfield.

It may have a reason to do with this:

Juve needs to sharpen it's defense. Buffon is more closer to retirement, that should be a "priority". Also, it's important that after Del Piero and Buffon are gone that Juve can have a symbol, a player the fans can relate to.

We need a young goalie that can have a chance to develop during the next 1-2 seasons. Buffon was the best keeper in the world at his time, but it's over now. I don't want Del Piero to retire, I don't care how old he is. Funny thing is, he may still be better than the other forwards we have. Chiellini can be the symbol you mentioned, he's a fighter and a top defender who apparently loves the club. We also need to strengthen our midfield, buying crap players in the last 3 seasons didn't cut it. Diego was actually a good purchase, but unfortunately things didn't turn out the way they should have been.

Inter v. Juve was quite a bore. I shut it off after 30 minutes.

Juve 4 - 0 Lecce !

Aquilani scores his first goal for us, Krasic gets two assists, Del Piero tied Giampiero Boniperti’s record of 178 Serie A goals.

That brings up the question, is Del Piero the greatest player ever in a Juve uniform?

Indeed!!!! No question that Del Piero is the greatest player to wear a Juventus uniform, yes, even before Zidane and Platini.

Del Piero breaks Boniperti's record in the game vs Milan by scoring the clincher. Can it get any better than that?

There are reports that Buffon has started his workouts without mayor issues :D He could/should be back during January.

Felipe Melo sucks pretty consistently. He needs to be benched.
